Now we all know the worlds become a more liberal, tolerant, equal place than it once was. Many of you believe it's went too far and hanker for the good old days.
So in your opinion what decade, or even century, got the balance just right?
It's so funny we went from the 60s and 70s where we just had two hippies but they they had it together when they didn't like something they would protest peacefully without destroying anybody else's property. They would protest. demonstrate the things that they believed in.
Now look at us now. WE' Are all grown up , We all have fucked up titles LOL no more hippies just right wing, liberals. Jackasses and donkeys manipulators liars cheaters politicians. Tell me where we are headed look at our gas prices you have you have big Pharma who has answers on how to cure people but they hide them because they're so fucking greedy and politicians won't put a cap on it won't do anything about it because they are the people to give politicians money to be re-elected look at our food situation supermarkets running out of food no food on the shelves what do you think the government's going to do about that that one fucking thing because they want us all to Riot and kill each other you had china that wants to take over the world who ever controls the money controls the world that's where we're headed and you have brushes just sitting back letting everybody do their thing why they keep printing money building your military we don't have any more politicians we have puppets rich people like Bill Gates walks in and says we need to do this I will back the money part of it politicians don't run the world anymore otherwise they would stand up and be great it's all the greedy that run this world nowadays you got every denomination of religion at each others throat for what reason I don't understand it you got mental health issues everywhere on this planet because our doctors keep prescribing more and more fucked up drugs to make these people go even more crazy the 21st century has been very eye-opening I know where we have been and I hate that we are headed to where we are headed I'm going to say the 80s and 90s because I got a good age I got to experience so many cool thanks I feel so bad for the kids nowadays we get to experience their four walls in their room their house inside of their house I wish everybody would just take five minutes and think about where we're headed and think about what we can do to change this what we have to do to get along but we have to do to become one but we have to do to become part of the solution and not part of the problem. And I still think the 80s 90s music was the best music ever I love all music from all eras but I like the 80s and 90s so I really I don't know which decade got it right I think it was when our forefathers tried to build a foundation with the Constitution and every politician there for after sat in a circle jerk just to fuck everything up so everybody you can keep your titles I'll keep the title of an asshole that's way better title than everybody else has
"the worlds become a more liberal, tolerant, equal place than it once was.
You say this as you unironically attack people based on which old corrupt man will sit in the White House as a figurehead leader of the world, and liberals attack others for not putting poison in their bodies against their will that doesn't even stop the China Flu, or for not rioting and burning down cities because some career felon OD'ed while being arrested for the 90th time. Human stupidity is at an all time high because pieces of shit want to virtue signal and act like the entire world is racist but them, despite them being ACTUAL anti-white racists and anti-male sexists.
No, the world ISN'T more "tolerant and equal" and it's mostly due to the far left and the braindead sheep who follow them. And make no mistake, the right isn't much better either, but at least they were never fascists who tried to cancel your career and get your fired because you didn't take a vaccine or voted for the piece of shit currently in office right now. And I'm not even right-wing, for what it's worth.
To answer the question, the 90s got it right. That was before the whole War of Terror BS and before the woke propaganda BS.
I'd say the 90s, but that's probably because that was my time. I was young and life was good.
I have to disagree about the world being more tolerant now. What's tolerated has simply changed. People that don't agree with the opinions de jour don't find such tolerance.
We seem to have gone backwards since the turn of the century

Maybe the 90’s. Things were simpler then. Now though… since 9/11, we’ve been descending into authoritarianism at an ever increasing rate.
Overall are very few things trending positive right now. Economy is on the verge of collapse, income inequality has never been worse, Americans hating each-other, murder, suicide, depression, divorce rates, childhood obesity, declining birth rates, health problems, declining life expectancy, more and more frivolous laws, higher taxes, federal overreach, destabilizing foreign relations. People can’t be fired for being gay - which is great, but they can be fired for not having an experimental medical procedure.
We’re taking 2 steps forward and 5 steps back in almost everything, and it isn’t sustainable.
In what reality is the world more "tolerant" now?
You can't swing a cat without running into some entitled snowflake complaining their "right" to identify as a bald Chinese woman from Indonesia has been infringed because they are actually a long-haired skinny runt of a Caucasian man from California or their parents object because they want to marry a rabbit.
I'd say we were closer in the 70s when John Wayne made the statement in an interview that he was only responsible for what he said, not what it was interpreted (twisted) to mean.
I'd say the 70s and 80s were the most enjoyable time to be alive, just before the internet and smartphones ruined humam relationships and social interactions. Now everyone has ADD and just stares at thier phone all fucking day. Plus the music was awesome, the clubbing was excellent, the style was groovy, shit was actually somewhat affordable, jobs were much easier to come by.
I think that today is far better than any other time, although I would love to go back to the 90s because hip hop back then was dope, and Tupac Shakur was alive.
I would say the 70s. It was right after the Vietnam war and the country was just divided enough so that there was two distinct sides but there was still institutions like the press and the supreme court that could still be depended on to act fairly.
The 1960s was a good decade. Back then, the Beatles gave us a good reason not to hate British or Japanese people, even though they both deserved an ass kicking at some point in history. As for the gays, well, Morrissey.
Morrissey was an infant in the 1960s. I didn't downvote you though, that was some other stickler for historical accuracy. And you're right, the 60s were great!
"tolerant?" Yeah right. You think riots, violence, murder, robbery, arson, are all tolerant?
None, not one... There has always been someone who didn't like someone else because they were not the same. There will always be that someone who thinks they are better than everyone else... Sad to say but not in this world...
Maybe caveman times? Otherwise the balance has always been off.
Lol. Are you being serious? Is that how you honestly feel? You really prefer caveman times?
Lol! I am not saying I prefer caveman times. I am saying that might be the one time the balance was right. *Might* I am simply answering the question. 😂
@loves2learn Okay. How was the balance right?
Everyone was neanderthals. 😂
Hmm. Someone is dodging the question. 🙃
I’m really not lol
Okay lol
Well i still miss the 90s lol. Seemed like a happier time back then generally
Right, because in the liberal world all problems have been solved and people are happy...*sigh*
Since when riots are a sign of tolerance? And since when liberals are?
The 80s and everybody knows that you’re deep down a right winger
I'd be satisfied with going back to the 1990s again.
None of them. The world's as miserable now as it was 600 years ago. We just have nicer toys now.
none.. the 60s-70s had problems with people of color, I think every decade had it, and its worse now.
The balance has never been right in the history of the world.
I think the 80's were good. Of course some of you were not born yet
My favorite decade was the 90s. We had the internet but no social media. And porn took a day and a half to download so we were happy with some boring ass porn.
1900-1910 and the 1990s. And even though Prohibition and the Stock Market Crash were ugly, the 1920s were boom times for awhile
