LOL, not only are preferences (something that all people have- you wouldn't date a broke midget for example) NOT racist, the preference is often for women who aren't white!
I feel like preference isn't racist as long as you don't disrespect other people AND you don't fetishize specific people (aka you can like vanilla but you won't hate chocolate or vise versa).

It's only racist because it affects black women? Ridiculous. People have their preferences which may be cultural or genetic, and is completely natural. As a white guy I mostly find whites and Eastern Asians (and Latinas) attractive, but that doesn't completely exclude anyone else. When someone looks so different from you and/or you haven't grown up around them much you can say they are an acquired taste.

Racial preference is not racist. It's very ignorant to imply such a thing. I'm black and I'm attracted to my own race, those that are mixed, and even those outside of my race. However, I'm not attracted to white women.

Racism is hating people based on one fact, their race. Its being against them having the same rights, respect etc just because of racial stereotypes or simply because of the colour of their skin.
Not finding majority people of one race attractive to date isn't racism. It doesn't mean you hate that group of people anymore than a guy who wants to date short girls hates tall women.

Totally, because other things comes into play, so you are on your right to date or not a person with obesity. Things like lifestyle and health; things that are not a concern in a friendship.

I don't think racial preferences are racist in and of themselves, however some racial preferences can be due to racist views someone has, or beauty standards that favour one race over another.
Because then a lot of people would have to admit that they were racist to a certain extent. It doesn't matter how you try to swing it, not liking someone because of their race, ethnicity, or skin color IS RACIST. PERIOD.

A guy who doesn't date black women, for instance - he somehow has this idea of "black women" in his head that he finds unattractive. In reality there's a diversity among what we call "black women" that is so huge that it makes zero sense to claim to find them all unattractive.

The West is definitely considered better than most parts of the world and a lot of ignorant people think that you're either oppressed or brainwashed if you don't conform to their "right way" of life.
That being said, while I do believe in white privillage to an extent I really believe most of it is outside of white countries. People really treat white people like they are something special in other countries, and other times its creepy. I will say South Asian countries have this obsession with white features, its not just south asia but most of Asia really and the Middle East, but since I'm south Asian I can only talk about what I know.
Bollywood movies are very disrespectful towards white people in general to the point I found it disturbing and stopped watching around the early 2010s. They are fetishised a lot, treated like decorations rather than real people.
I know in England there aren't currently any laws that favour white people more than anyone else. So in that sense white privilege isn't a thing at least here. Beauty standards nowadays favour exotic features more than they ever have, although a lot of these minorities still have European features sometimes, but just with dark skin.
