I couldnât care less. Couldnât is a contraction, and youâre saying âI could not care less if I triedâ. For example, I could not care less about losing weight. If you say that you could care less, youâre implying that you could, in fact, care less than you do at this current point. If you were to say, âI could care less about losing weightâ, it almost sounds like there should be something else to the statement, like, âI could care less about working about, but the reunion is coming up, and I want to look greatâ.

First is wrong and English isnât even my first language:
Actually both are correct. It depends on the conversation.
I couldn't care less means your level of caring is zero,
I use the phrase "I could care less" as a warning that they are losing my commitment to something.
I've been in discussions at work about where I said that I'm not in favor of the idea. As the kept talking adding more details, I was even less favorable about it. I told them I could care less, as they kept talking my response was now I do care less, I dislike the idea.
I could care less about homeless people.
When ever they asked for a hand out from me the answer is always no it's not my job or responsibility to take care of the homeless. And to me standing with a sign saying homeless please help is not a job. 👎

It's "Couldn't care less" and it drives me up a wall when people don't use this the right way.
I give a fuck or I donât give a fuck.
simpleItâs âI couldnât care less.â âI could care lessâ is actually saying the opposite. Itâs how language develops tho. Just like ânip it in the butt.â
Iâm weird, I always switch things up. Just who I am. So both, but not very often on either of these. I usually care. âşď¸
If a person saying he/she ""could care less"", that means he/she still cares just enough to invest his/her time or energy to defend or stand up against whatever reason or action.
I couldn't care less. 😁. Am not trying to defend my self, am just explaining! English is my fourth language. My native language is Syriac, then Swedish, arabic and of course English.
I know 'couldn't care less' is the correct usage, but it just sounds weird and awkward to me. If I happen to use that phrase (which I try not to) I just say either and don't worry about it.
uh.. i vote E: I don't know 🙋🏻ââď¸😂
i didn't really study deeply about English because it wasn't my first language.I usually say, "I couldn't care less." I'm probably wrong.
I've said both before
When I'm angry, I don't pay attention to grammar, so I "care less" lol- s
Since English is not my native language I've never thought about this. However, I could care less makes more sense to me. I might be wrong Lol
I say both depending on the circumstances. But I use it correctly. I don't say I could care less when I'm trying to say I don't care. Lol
"bro/dude whatever! Idgaf" is what I say when I'm angry. Otherwise you'll get a "meh", "k", "so?", "whatever".
"I could care less" implies that I care... which I don't.
I try to say the proper âcouldnâtâ, but sometimes I could give a fuck less about the grammar of it😝
I couldn't careless about how i could care less about whichever is used. And it's pedantic to care.
Great comedian across the pond:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=om7O0MFkmpwA means you do care to some degree.
B means you don't care at all.If by saying "I could care less", you are indicating that there is further you could go to actually care infinitely less.
Frankly, both are correct. Depending on the context.
