Usually if they are that, they love nothing more than to brag and virtue signal. They'd plain old say it. The flag usually means "ally" or "support" of those groups. The times they don't outright admit they're trans, they'll have the hybrid male-female trans symbol on there, instead.

Kinda, sorta, not really. Same sex marriage has only been legal since 2015 in the U. S. That was decades of social justice and protests. Just decades of bullshit to make things happen. compared to trans rights it's only been few years in the limelight backup by same sex pride momentum in solidarity.

So while gay rights has a legal foothold, trans rights while having a larger momentum dont have any strong legal standing. It's a grader strategy protecting your newly recognized rights by fighting for more marginalized groups rights.

This is why second wave feminism fell short was from being racist to marginalized women. Your movement is only as strong as your weakest point.

I’m not too sure honestly. I guess a lot of people want to show that they support LGBT+ but the way she puts it makes it kind of confusing and can give off the wrong impression: she’s gay and trans lol
