No, besides it wouldn't work. Not all of what makes up the modern United States today was part of the British Empire, it was 13 colonies called "The Thirteen American colonies." The rest was controlled by the French, the Spanish (then the Mexicans after Mexico gained its independence from the Spanish Empire), the Native Americans, the Hawaiian Kingdom (Hawaii) and Russia (Alaska) for example. Therefore, historically other than Virginia, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. The UK today would have no territorial claim to the other 37 states that compromise modern America.

Also you guys have fought two major wars against the United Kingdom, the American Revolutionary War of 1775-1783 to have independence from a totalitarian, imperialist and colonialist superpower that was the British Empire. And again in the War of 1812 (1812-1815), over severe British violations of U. S. maritime rights from 1803-1812, that ended in a severe stalemate for both sides. So no, there would be no reconciliation or re-joining of the United States to the United Kingdom over that pretty bloody and antagonistic history of the US wanting to be free of any monastic and imperialist empires such as the old British Empire.

Finally, the UK is no longer the British Empire, and has not been classed as a powerful superpower since the beginning of WW2, and officially lost it's superpower status in 1956, leaving the United States and the former Soviet Union (1922-1991) as the only two superpower states left in the entire world during the height of the Cold War. So it has been for a long time just the fraction of the power and might it had in the late 18th to early 20th centuries. It has no right anymore to demand or propose such a thing. More importantly, The United States has far more economic, political, diplomatic and military power than the UK has today. Being the only full superpower on the planet since the collapse of the Soviet Union in December 1991, it practically dominates the UK in everything now, and we really wouldn't stand a chance on our own now against such a massive power. Times have changed, the only real country that has any standing against the United States in terms of growing economic and diplomatic-political power now is China, being a massive economic power coming closer each year to rivalling the United States in terms of such matters. So to conclude, the UK essentially has no power or ground now to order such a return of even the 13 original colonies to its territories, as we basically have no real power anymore on our own without the United States and other NATO allies.

Apologies for the dissertation, but that's my opinion as a non-US citizen.

No. I've lived in England. We may speak relatively the same language, but the differences between the two countries are huge. The USA laws and the authority given to the fifty states would be taken from us. We'd be subjects of the Crown and ruled by Parliament.

Maybe belonging to the Commonwealth and having status as granted to Canada, Australia and New Zealand might be acceptable. I've been in Canada and Australia, they are more like the USA than England. But I don't see where being a member of the Commonwealth would be of any benefit to either country.

Do you you mean America going back to it's rightful owners or do you mean kicking out people of British descent and making then return to the motherland?
Or did you mean returning your military bases here?

You mean the Pilgrims? The USA created itself on its own by having deserters if the Church if England come here. It was never a part of the UK.

The USA is certainly fubar, but Britain has one of the most loathsome governments on the planet. I can't imagine anyone wanting to be governed by that cluster fuck of morons, pedophiles, Anglocentric aristocrats, and inbred royals.

The only people who would want that are anti-gun, freedom-hating liberals.

🤨... Rrriiiight. Yup, that's us Commonwealth's in a nut shell.

Taxes. Oh my the taxes! So many taxes, I can't afford to dump my tea in a harbour.

But hey, at least those taxes are overall less than, say, you know... Your private health care companies that charge you an arm and a leg for medical coverage, and then turn around and deny you coverage over every possible loophole they can find to keep your money.

At least I don't have to sell my house and the kids for medical treatment if an emergency happened.

At least our taxes go towards maintaining infrastructure, which in turn creates more jobs. Um... Exactly how well are your roads and decades old bridges in small towns doing?

At least those taxes go towards giving teachers and schools a decent salary and in turn, our kids get a better education and know more about the world. You guys barely even know anything about the countries next door to you, let alone your own history.

Oh and you guys get taxes to. I know our countries seem all booga booga with socialism, but you do realise your taxes go towards paying your politicians, your police, your fire departments and your military, right? That's also socialism. If you don't like that, I suppose turning your police and firemen into hired mercs would work. So long as you pay them before they save your ass.

Oh yeah, no freedom. We got none of that. Our governments rule us like North Korea.

We're also antisocial and miserable too. So much so that we take it out on our fellow citizens and perform mass shootings on a regular basis... Oh wait, that's you guys.

No freedom to think for ourselves either, despite me spouting all of this off on my own accord.

Yeah, 'go there and find out.' I've lived in both Canada and Australia. You probably haven't even moved out of your parents basement.

Funny! You keep yapping. You want the gov to take care of you? Why stop thee? More to North Korea!

Plus take self responsibilities. Which I know is hard for your pussifed weak ass.

You sound like a typical weak ass beta pussified Canadian so called guy.

Canadian health care is not even good. That’s why you clowns keep only comparing it to the states.

Meanwhile the gov gives you a free Bs checkup or for clowns like you who eat like shit and abuse their bodies might be okay.

I live in South Asia. And if anything happens I pay out of pocket that’s why I take care of myself.
And I eat and drink based on healing.

But I know you’re too fkin stupid to do that.

      Another useless eater.

Well, someone's triggered. Guess if you don't have a useful argument, personal insults will have to do.

Bit of a contradiction in this discussion. First the complaints about our governments taking taxes from us... Now we're moochers getting free handouts? Can't put two and two together easily can you? Taxes go into the services provided to us. We pay for those services and don't get anything for free.

Same as tossing that money into a private business, except it goes towards the government that has to ensure services due to adhering to the Charter of Rights and their own laws, as opposed to some private company that's more interested in profit and charge more for less.

Oh, didn't realise South Asia was a country. Or are you just full of shit and want to sound like you know what you're talking about by saying you live in South Asia, rather than specifying an actual country because you can't name a country in that area? Or is it because if you name a specific country, you'll get easily called out for your BS, knowing everything you've said is contradictory to how things actually work there, because you don't really live there at all?

Keep eating and drinking to heal yourself. Eventually you might heal that teenage angst.

Because you’re a pussified gutless Canadian snowflake coward!

You keep talking.. if you shut your trap and listen maybe you wouldn’t be a sick dog waiting for the gov to take care of you.

      You would’ve took self responsibilities.

      Enjoy your 2000 percent tax.
And anti white nation. To give you clowns like you who wanna kill themselves from from eating dog’s ass.

And then bitching about how their so sick all the time.

I would favor a federation of the US, Canada, NATO countries, non-aligned Eastern European countries like Ukraine and even Russia. A global government can start from there. The Capitol would be Washington, DC or New York because it won’t happen without the US.

While I appreciate that we are the inheritors of the British traditions, and our cultures are similar in many ways, there are still enough and rather distinct differences between our two countries, and I'm fine with them and us being "brothers".

Do you mean 330,000,0000 people leaving the Americas and moving to the British Isles.
