Are there many taxes to pay in your respective countries?

I mean like for many things and services there are taxes to pay? I live in a country where we had many taxes to pay and the Government want to add more and more to charge even for stupid meaningless things and low income people who do not earn enough money is no good, lots of taxes and things get expensive but our IRS need to collect money from somewhere to pay the huge debt our country , now even more due to the pandemic, so they has "according to them" of course, but citizens dont buy that,, beause we have many loobists in our government.

Also we have the bad reputation that even some tourists believe our country is very expensive cause we are charged to pay taxers for this and that.

Based on that do you have many taxes to pay for many things or services in your country? What kind of taxes and how are they charged?

In the USA every time you turn around the government is putting is grubby hand in my pocket. Federal , state and local taxes. Sales taxes, taxes on booze, cable TV, cell phone service, and a million other things. then you pay for things like trash collection which should be done by the town. If your kid wants to play sports the parents have to come up with the money. More stuff that should be covered by taxes. Buckle up folks Biden is gonna make LBJ look like a small time crook.

How lawyers, doctors, etc when they charge for their professional services do they charge a tax also?

Yes, in some states there is a tax on services.

So as a former tax accountant, I'd just like to say that we have a loooooooooooot of taxes, though for most of us they don't really apply, and the people they do apply to don't pay them.

dO YOU HAVE TO PAY AN AMOUNT OF Taxes for professional services? Like for instance if you go to a dentist or doctor apointment or you hire a legal adice from a lawyer. Whne hat lawyer or doctor bills you do these kind of professionals charege some extra tax required by your IRS for professional services? or in the USA that kind of tax do not exist?

Explicitly, that sort of tax does not exist, but you can bet that professionals bake that tax into their fees.
