First off you would need to have mind to have the potential to get there. Not everyone does. Many people are lower on the IQ scale but can make up for it with creativity like many writers, directors, rappers and athletes for example. But they won't become billionaires for the most part still. For rappers I think Jay-z & Kanye are like the only one. You could argue that on the grand scale Diddy is "close enough". George Lucas shits gold for sure but I don't know how much his net worth is. But being the daddy of the most popular franchise to ever exist is bound to make you millions. My point is though that these guys had a mix of creativity AND business sense. But lots of people just DONT and won't based on just not being able to get there mentally. And that's not to bash these people, no one can help their level of intellect.
I'm going to personally humor you here since I know your politics a bit. You can get there also by inheritance (largely how Trump got to where he was). Forbes thinks Trump is worth about 2.4 billion but he used to be worth close to 6. By the time he ran for election the first time he was down to about 4 billion. He's been successful but not nearly as successful as he wants to portray himself. Trump Steaks anyone? Oh wait that went under... oh and Trump owes $640,000,000 to German banks, $450,000,000 to creditors, AND $211,000,000 to the Chinese gov. Now why is that? lol. The more I learn about his skeletons the more I too want to see those tax returns. Makes you wonder if his time in office was apart of a front to get himself out of his many debts by making deals or strong-arming other nations and businesses... the more you know man... the more you know...

I came from a dirt poor Texas sharecropping family and I now have everything I want or need I worked hard to get here too. I don’t know about a billionaire or a millionaire even but you can get to your dream. If you dream big be prepared to put in the work. Nothing is truly free and nothing worth chasing is easy. The higher the goals the harder the work. It’s worth it though but more importantly it can be done.
I agree with this statement. Some people are billionaires because they inherited that wealth. Some people become billionaires through their own will and hard work. However, not everyone becomes a billionaire. If you invest a lot of money you could potentially become a billionaire but it doesn't necessarily happen that way. If you're poor or even if you're a middle class citizen it's hard to become a billionaire unless you do something that's life changing (like create a product that sells for millions) or if you have good luck.
Yeah. It's like saying anyone can play piano but not everyone can play piano. Works better with voice effects. But I'm sure you get it

The presumption that only poor people are inspired to work and there not being much cash to go around are unproven social dynamics and lacking the consequence of uncontrollable inflation. There are countries with such horrible inflation that it takes nearly a million monetary units of money, like pesos, too buy a loaf of bread. I'd hate being a millionaire in a country where it takes a half billion dollars a month to pay for groceries and rent, without the benefit of socialization of medicine 💊💉 and control caps on inflationary spending by the Treasury Department 🏬 too keep inflation under control and limit hording and Monopoly business models from taking control of the economy too avoid monstrosity devaluation of currency.
Wait… if everyone was what would that do to the world? People would be working simply because they wanted to? Delivery drivers hauling large quantities of food. People who first grew or made that food. All those handling the fine points of getting it from crop to store. The builders of the trucks themselves. Oompa Loompa land.
Well anyone can do everything. If I want then I can become world's youngest billionaire or at least millionaire in like 3-5 years but I don't have that passion for business as much as I have it for music. I would rather be broke song writer rather than rich business woman. It all depends on passion, will power, hard work a dedication.
nope... not anyone and certainly not everyone
only a very few could ever get to that point, and it won't depend on just the one person as a person, there's many other factors involved as well as many other people
because we're talking about BILLIONS in here, a very different realm and scene, apart from the millionaire and the rich... "self-made" anything is always a fantasy that some people like to sellWell, if the value of the dollar drops so much due to inflation, then sure, everyone could be billionaires. It's not going to mean the same thing at that point though. So technically we could all be billionaires, but then we'll still have a smaller group of what... Quadrillionaires?
Well billionaire is a high target and I don't think everyone has the personality to reach that high. You have to work hard and keep investing all you got for quite a while. The more money you got the easier it is to make more. But there isn't enough money to go around for everyone to become one. Unless you want hyperinflation and then the term would be worthless.
Anyone can but not everyone can is a more realistic way to put it. Also most people aren’t willing to put in the work necessary or have the brain power to make it happen.
Millionaire is pretty attainable though.if you have $10k+ to blow on stocks, then yeah maybe
No that's the kind of crap you tell people to make them feel down and jump off bridges.
I believe everyone can be a billionaire with hard work!
Technically true, because if everyone in the US was a billionaire, the value of money would tank so badly that it would be virtually worthless.
intersting fact though that there are more self made billionaires in china which also has the highest percentage of female self made billionaires
At the moment, its a matter of fact. There aren't enough dollars in circulation for all 330 million Americans to have a billion dollars.
The U. S. are a kind of pyramid scheme.
The train has left the station with just a few on board.
The others are fucked over.
Foreseeable is: the scheme will eventually collapse.Anyone can be a sociopathic murderer too. Anyone can torture animals.
But not everyone can bring themselves to be such a disgusting dikwad jerk either. No, I disagree. Not anyone can become a billionaire. There are people who just don't have the capability.
It is true that not everyone can be a billionaire. There literally isn't enough money for that.I mean... there aren't any hard barriers for people who have internet access and weren't born in prison. But is it likely everyone can become a billionaire if they try? Probably not. A lot of confounding variables should be considered.
Maybe knowing the right people. Who needs that much money anyway.. lol
If everyone could do it, no one would be a billionaire. Being a "billionaire" means you are in the top.5%. By definition, no everyone can do that. Any single person has the potential, but very few realize it.
That sounds like a truism. If you make something that a million people need and you charge $1 for each item you'll be a millionaire.
Not quite because your profit margin is never 100% but the principle is sound.
