You're assuming that every person who isn't a pathetic baby demanding that other people should have their basic human rights trampled on is a drunk driver, while people with a working brain understand that there's a difference between a drunk driver and a person who just wants to have their rights respected. Oh and the pathetic babies here also have a good chance of being drunk drivers themselves too. Funny how that works out.
So people wanting to do what they want with their bodies makes them idiots? What’s the excuse for people that eat McDonald’s everyday? Are those people idiots too?
@kyleelyn199723 yes, exactly, stupid people killing themselves, reducing the burden they create on intelligent folks who have to pay taxes to subsidize their existence as well as be put at risk by their stupid actions. I wish them luck in killing themselves off faster and hope they can be successful before they breed
@kyleelyn199723 vaccines? “The mild to moderate course of illness suggests that full vaccination followed by a booster dose still provides good protection against severe disease caused by Omicron,” but hey, I'm sure 99% of doctors are wrong and some keyboard warrior is correct
Actually, in the last month, I've only had 1 vaccinated Covid posititve patient in my ICU. They have since been discharged. The rest of my Covid patients have been unvaccinated.
@SecretsofKB correct, but even then vaccinated people are still getting the virus. I’m not sure why people are so concerned about others getting hospitalized. If they want to put themselves at a bigger measure, that’s their personal right too. Vaccinated people are still spreaders of the virus regardless if they are vaccinated
So the point is that others should care about others being hospitalized.
We are currently full. No beds left in my ICU. The ER has 2 Covid patients and a cardiac patient in rooms waiting on one of my ICU beds to open up.
That's the problem. We are overwhelmed. And I'm not even in a big city.
I'm not going to sit here and force anyone to get the vaccine. But I'll sit here and urge you to get it if it means it will keep you out of my hospital. Sure, you get the virus, but you're not taking up my beds.
If you were to get into a serious car accident right now, sorry, but we don't have a bed for you.
@SecretsofKB Like I said, it's killing a disproportionate number of people with shit for brains who can't get a vaccine even though they've had polio, measles and 10 other vaccine's. This is good of the rest of us in the long term because they won't pass on stupid genes
@SecretsofKB but what you aren’t mentioning is that there’s a huge amount of unvaccinated not catching the virus and fighting off the virus without being hospitalized because they are healthy. And that is the majority
@secretofKB the majority are not ending up in the hospital though, so if people feel like they are healthy enough, I’m not really understanding the point. If people want to chance that, that’s on them. I know for a fact I take great care of myself as many others do also. If someone wants to take that chance, that should be on them. I understand you are overwhelmed yourself as you have said before, but that shouldn’t be a stance for you to think people shouldn’t have a choice
I've never said that it should be forced on people.
In school, I was taught that you can't make anyone do anything they don't want to do. And I believe that.
So all I try to do is appeal to people and explain that getting the vaccine can limit your chance at being hospitalized. That will keep one more person out of the hospital and free up space for other Covid patients or patients with other serious conditions.
@SecretsofKB I understand that , but this whole post is an extremist post insinuating all people should get vaccinated or else and I just don’t believe in that way of life. Kudos to people that have gotten vaccinated and good for them, but there’s others that choose to live life a little differently and that should be okay also.
Yeah, I know. And I personally don't agree with forcing the vaccination either.
I just wanted to appeal to you because of what you were saying about the vaccine and who is or isn't being hospitalized.
That and you at least I thought you would entertain what I had to say. The ones who want to "force the jab" would definitely not when I say not to force it.
@SecretsofKB I think you at least have a good perspective vs the original commenter that wants to argue with facts and facts and facts instead of just realizing that this post is an extremist. I mean look at his cigarette smoking analogy.
@secretofKB absolutely! I am not an extremist and I think the most civil people are not extremist. The owner of the question however has a history of being nasty to people for his views and it’s just a projection of the rest of the world that has extreme views of either side. I respect every single nurse /doctor and I know it’s been a TON of stress all around for them. I watched it 2 weeks ago when I got sick and had to get tested numerous times. Thankfully I didn’t have Covid but I saw how overwhelmed pharmacies and walk ins were alone, nvm even the hospitals

'why should people have rights?'
They do. At home
So, you know, like, if you don't wanna get sick, stay the fuck home kinda thing, right? That way everyone has rights.
Yeah! The paranoid people can stay at home while the rest of us live our lives.
If I don’t want to get hit by a drunk driver, I shouldn’t drive. So we should allow drunk driving.
You're assuming that every person who isn't a pathetic baby demanding that other people should have their basic human rights trampled on is a drunk driver, while people with a working brain understand that there's a difference between a drunk driver and a person who just wants to have their rights respected.

it's good way to weed the idiots out of society
So people wanting to do what they want with their bodies makes them idiots? What’s the excuse for people that eat McDonald’s everyday? Are those people idiots too?

Everyday it's showing the vaccines are useless. It's literally to the point where the antivaxers are getting blamed for the vaccines not working.
@Slingblade1126 your statement is false. A highly disproportionate number of deaths are among the unvaccinated
@notwoke that statement would’ve been valid about , like last year. This vaccine does nothing for the current variant out and about
@kyleelyn199723 vaccines?
“The mild to moderate course of illness suggests that full vaccination followed by a booster dose still provides good protection against severe disease caused by Omicron,” but hey, I'm sure 99% of doctors are wrong and some keyboard warrior is correct
Says the one being a key board warrior also.
You think every doctor agrees with the vaccine? LOL
How many of the unvaccinated are being hospitalized due to Omicron?
@Slingblade1126 people forget that doctors are salesman for pharmaceuticals
@kyleelyn199723

If they want to put themselves at a bigger measure, that’s their personal right too. Vaccinated people are still spreaders of the virus regardless if they are vaccinated
On top of the fact, that those people are probably not in good health and do not take care of their bodies to begin with
@kyleelyn199723
So the point is that others should care about others being hospitalized.
We are currently full. No beds left in my ICU. The ER has 2 Covid patients and a cardiac patient in rooms waiting on one of my ICU beds to open up.

@SecretsofKB but what you aren’t mentioning is that there’s a huge amount of unvaccinated not catching the virus and fighting off the virus without being hospitalized because they are healthy. And that is the majority
@kyleelyn199723 everybody's not getting cancer from smoking either
@notwoke and that’s someone’s choice if they want to smoke or not. How many people still smoke anyways?
@kyleelyn199723
Sure. There's plenty of people that may not end up in the hospital, but there are still too many that do end up there. More then what we can handle.
If we can lower they overall amount of people getting the virus, we can lower the amount of people ending up in the hospital.
@secretofKB the majority are not ending up in the hospital though, so if people feel like they are healthy enough, I’m not really understanding the point. And also what people are failing to acknowledge is the vast majority of unvaccinated are not in the hospital
@kyleelyn199723
Yeah, I wasn't sure where the smoking thing was going either.
Thanks for being civil with me.
@SecretsofKB you are definitely a voice of reason and kyleelyn199723 seems like a lovely person also. It was a nice back and forth between you two.

And thank you ! @slingblade I have no intentions to hurt people while chatting and that’s how everyone should be and act like
@kyleelyn199723
Yeah, anyone that takes any idea too far in any direction always makes me uncomfortable.
And yeah, now is not the time to be a healthcare worker. Take it from me.
Pretty sure I’m immune
exactly.

It’s the others life you’re infecting
Incase of that I keep making mask on and I do take foods which keep my immunity safe and strong.
