Because the US problems are not because of Liberal/Conservative politics, its because its Legal/Justice and regulatory systems are severely flawed and can be bypassed with money.
Pharmaceutical Corporations in the US can sell highly addictive opioid drugs, getting thousands and millions of people addicted and FDA overlook it, as most FDA figures want to move to private sector for higher salaries and don't want to rock the boat.
The NRA is back powerful weapons manufacturers, who also bank roll senators and Congress members, enabling them to control US politics and strangle attempts at gun control. So you have basically unlimited access to weapons and state sponsored drug addiction to millions of people.
Private Prison companies lobby the Justice system to send more people to jail, which is usually poor areas that suffer most.
State/Ferderal Attorney General's with support of FBI do deals with wealthy individuals like Jeffrey Epstein, when there is no reason to do so.
These organisations and departments are in control of the 'Conservative' and 'Liberal' politicians, its a flawed system. People elected politicians, but its Corporations and wealthy individuals who fund campaigns and politicians work for those that fund them.
Higher populations like the US would sustain better universal healthcare programs then scandinavian countries. There is zero reason why Americans should not have healthcare as a human right.
In the same way every car insurance companys promote lower rates because they want the most people under that insurance umbrella. The more people paying the greater insulation.
The thing is healthcare should be a human right and if a nation acts as the single healthcare insurance we all get the greatest bang for every buck.
Even if you call bullshit the thing is the whole world operates this way. So big pharmaceuticals can't make the money they want. So they take it as much as they can from Americans. This is why Americans have the highest medical costs and the minimum medical satisfaction.
The medical industry accross the globe takes advantage of amaricans for higher profits to sustain the losses of the global human rights. It's stupid not playing ball at this point if we are the only one left paying the global bill. If Americans had healthcare as a right that global bill would be more evenly split across the world.
There’s less violent crime, better health care, cheaper college tuition, better public infrastructure, and more vacation time for workers. It’s really not that hard to see why people there perceive a better quality of life.

First off both of these countries compared to the U. S. do not have nearly as a diverse set of cultures, nor the history that we have. 2nd for years America has been all about make ya own choices and the government legally wise stays out of it, thats how a lot of people see America. The land of the free or free to choose as you will without government help. Liberal politics in the U. S. anyway really only want control and power, from what a lot of people say. The politics in Netherlands and Sweden are actually working because people actually want those as a whole, because the netherlands/sweden are pretty close off culturely wise and can pretty much without much fight due to its people.
Yeah its better life for FEMALES most guys in those cities or countries are like DESPERATE to leave the cultish feminism that oozes out of those places. The birth rates in like Amsterdam and Stockholm both as of late dropped so low that there are literal ads begging foreigners to sleep with the local ladies. <.<
It might be the difference in Socialists and Progressives. There are more homogeneous populations in there cities in Europe and European have been molded by their history to accept control. I don't know where you are from but I am happy with my freedom.

Republicans never travel 2-3 km outside the perimeter of their TeeVee. They're addicts who need injections of garbage and BS from Fox News. They can't survive outside this perimeter. They'll never know anything about Europe or South America

They're all one relatively peaceful ethnicity, and while their economic politics are liberal they are still often more restrained socially.
A lot of that is about population sizes.
