6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I suppose I support anyone running, but trump in particular tried to end the country to hold on to power. I do think that should bar him from legally being allowed to run but I wouldn't think that should be necissary, as the Republican party ought to at least agree that we should have a country. The problem is republicans have become the parry of opposition for the sake of opposition and so, no, in fact, we can not agree that we should have a country.
At least not publicly. I'm like 90% certian that republicans are working behind the scenes to come up with a way to take all of trump's ability to make his base really mad at fabricated grievances, but without actually involving trump, himself. There are already public symptoms of these efforts. Unfortunately, if trump becomes wise to it, he will almost certianly turn on the GOP, which could destroy the party. And as irritated as I am with the GOP even I'll admit we need something like it to keep democrats in check. It would be better for all sides if trump bowed out on his own. But when does a scammer ever willingly stop scamming? Maybe with Russia's backing of trump finally laid bare and things put in place to prevent it there will be less enthusiasm for him. Who knows..10 Reply

You gotta understand I come from a small steel town in Pennsylvania if I had known the foundational texts on intersectional theory I would never have chanted "lock her up lock her up!"
We were told Hillary Clinton was the enemy but it's clear now the true enemy is a patriarchal capitalist soceity that maintains its ascendance by making powerful and ambitious women appear threatening only to protect my status in a system purposely designed to benefit CISET white males like myself. Jesus.
Wheñ Donald Trump said that he would make America great again, it's obvious to me now that he was only trying to play off my own complicity and comfort in an unequal social structure that disproportionately strips women and minorities particularly trans and genderqueer people of color of their autonomy and seeks to subjugate and inveterate to an intentionally antagonistic androcratic order. I get that now after I attended a gender-fluid non-binary poetry slam at the Swarthmore. A couple of other guys from work attended it too and now it's all we talk about on the line.
I liked Trump because he tells it like it is but do you know who teally tells it like it is? A better option would be Kristi Noem, that way if Democrats don't vote for her, everyone can say they are against women. A trick right out of the Democratic play book.

"Taken out of context" a real video that's so short that cannot be taken out of context of what he literally said. Also now he's saying even more dumb shit like how "Under our leadership the world was a peaceful place because America was strong and the perception of our country was perhaps like it had never been before: powerful, cunning and smart. We were a smart country. Now we are a stupid country" like... there wasn't any war or that Ukraine invasion hadn't been planned during that time at all.
Does he think Putin only came up the idea and moved his troops on recently? And not understand this plan was planned time ago therefore no it wasn't.
He's a completely bias idiot who has delusional thoughts about it Usa been only smart country when he is in power.

@Kaneki05 The belief that Trumptards have that a cunning, ruthless former head of the KGB was afraid of tough guy Trump is so funny, it makes milk shoot out my nose. Trump was destabilizing NATO and getting them to fight amongst themselves. That's worth 10 Ukraines to Putin so why would Putin want to distract from his useful idiot at work. But nah, he was afraid of a bombastic buffoon like Trump. BAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Yeah trump loves putin so much. That's why he enacted the most crippling sanctions on them that they've ever had and nearly destroyed their economy by pushing regulations that made oil crazy cheap. You're living in a fantasy world.
- +1 y
@LingyRolls Congress had to almost break his arm let alone twist it to implement anything on his best buddy Vlad but I"m the one living in a fantasy world. Your utter cluelessness on the subject is adorable.

No, he implemented those policies on his own. Congress can't force the president to do jack in international affairs. That's why the state department exists. Good lord please educate yourself.
- +1 y
@LingyRolls I am educated about it. You on the other hand are spreading complete bullshit.
- +1 y
Enjoy living in your "orange man bad" fantasy world. If he doesn't put sanctions on Russia then you'll say it's because they're friends. If he does put crippling sanctions on him then you'll say he was somehow forced, even though that's not possible. You're so caught up in your fantasies and political mental masturbation that you can't see reality. You only see what CNN tells you to see. Pathetic really.
- +1 y
@LingyRolls No one who supported or supports Donald Trump should ever tell anyone else they can't see reality. Trump laughs everyday at how stupid and braindead his supporters are, how they would believe anything he says. It's really stunning how so many people are too stupid to see through a 3rd rate conman, to believe this New York billionaire who's never done a thing if he wasn't the direct beneficiary of it cares about them so much.
Someday in the not too distant future, Trumptards will be an exhibit in a museum and we'll walk past them just shaking our heads at how easily these brainiacs were conned and how they were trained to believe anything Trump said no matter how easily proven to be a lie. - +1 y

- +1 y
@LingyRolls That's certainly a compelling argument. Every study shows the core of Trump's base are poorly educated white people. That's not a coincidence.
- +1 y
Wrong again. He got the most minority votes of any republican since Reagan. But I know in your own little world math is racist and hard to understand
- +1 y
@LingyRolls So you're saying his base isn't poorly educated white people? You're just making shit up about things you just wish weren't true. Not a strong approach to debate..
"most minority votes of any republican". LOL. That's a pretty low bar. And with the number of overall voters increasing every election, statistics on "the most votes" mean shit. But you're clearly not nearly bright enough to understand that or you think other people aren't. - +1 y
I would be careful throwing around the racist and classist argument for a political base of I were a Democrat. That argument can get very ugly for them very quickly considering their own base (which they proudly champion and show off every chance they get).

No no no.. world does not need more people like Putin in power. The brainwashing in the states is worrisome, what has to led to so many people even supporting Russia and this war too thanks to these nutjob fantasy "news" networks. But I think it's intentional, I think the corporations in the states in particular want to keep their people stupid and focused on left vs right, rather than actually doing what would be best for their country.
Cause I have to admit, for me when I visited the states, it was a huge culture shock to me to see how much you channels advocate to sue each other for everything. In my 30 years being alive here, I never once seen a single ad about suing anyone for anything. In the states, it was ad after ad about suing each other over everything, I think in the US you are purposely supposed to turn on each other to keep the people enslaved. They love doing that with the whole Democrat vs republican thing. It makes sure that the oligarchy keeps going10 Reply412 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Possibly. At this point, almost everyone is going to be voting *against* the candidate they dislike the most, rather than *for* a candidate whom they like.
If Trump runs, he'd be almost certain to win the GOP nomination, and almost certain to lose the presidential election - a good result for the country and the wider world.
If Trump doesn't run, Ron DeSantis would be almost certain to win the GOP nomination, and arguably favorite to win the presidential election - and while that's probably not as bad as another 4 years of Trump, it's still something of a disaster.10 Reply5.8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Sure, but whether I vote for him or not in the primaries depends on who else is running. There are better options, but I think a lot of them would think twice before running against him since it would not only create a rift in their voting base, but could also result in a garbage swamp creature RINO squeaking by with the nomination, which would be pretty much worst case scenario for the Republicans in 2024, and snatching defeat from the jaws of victory is something that they are irrefutably adept at.
There's basically no recognizable Democrat I would vote for in 2024, and certainly not the incumbent or his worthless VP. The democratic party needs to do a serious culling and rebranding before I will ever consider them again.10 Reply- 382 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.

The very last thing this country needs is 4 more years of a criminal Trump Presidency. The last thing the Republican Party needs is having anything to do with Trump, but they're too stupid to recognize that.
The last thing the Democrats need to do is nominate Joe Biden again.

+1 yI certainly do, but it’s going to be interesting on if he decides to run again. It’s why he has not said it yet. We all know why he lost and Ukraine is the cost of such. Democrats needed outside help to win the election. Now, we have open borders. Cartels bringing families over, separating the men and flying them to unknown locations. Gee I wonder what they’re doing? I can almost guarantee their cheating as being one of the big reasons why he hasn’t said anything yet.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yEh, I'm mixed. He did some good things, he fell short in some areas. But since he's had a term already, we can expect that he's mostly going to be beneficial. The only alternative is an independent or someone like DeSantis who looks promising, but can they rally the support needed? Who knows. And they don't have a good first term already under their belt. Mostly the reason I would lean away from Trump is that he's old. He's spry for his age and you don't get the decrepit old man vibes that you get from Biden, but for fuck's sake can we get some young blood please?
10 ReplyNo. Because I don't want to see him get assassinated by the far-left, while they cover up it on social media like they did with Hunter Biden's crack pipe.
Trump was popular in 2016 because he was counter-culture, not necessarily because of the man himself. It was symbolic. I'd rather have someone who is fair, balanced, intelligent, and rational for BOTH sides, like Tulsi Gabbard, rather than just more extremists and counter-candidates. America needs someone who is closer to normal, not more polarizing and extreme candidates. Otherwise, things will just keep getting more and more extreme. The US NEEDS someone both sides actually WANT as president, and someone who will actually take the fight to the elitists (and do more than the little Trump did against them).

Other than Trump's ego being unable to accept the outcome and him repeating that lie, do you have any actual... what's the word... evidence? The big audit that was going to blow the lid off the left wing election fraud in Arizona done by a partisan right wing firm found... that Biden actually got more votes than he was originally credited with. At what point are people like you going to get your head out of your asses and deal with reality?
Opinion Owner+1 y@TheBigWhistle There's all kinds of evidence all over the place. Mike Lindell was instrumental in everything he uncovered. Many others as well.

Mike Lindell? You've got to be kidding me. Mike Lindell is an attention seeking crackpot. He's a joke. A national laughing stock. How in God's name do you not see that?
I want you to ask yourself this question. It's been 16 months since the election. 16 MONTHS!!! If Mike Lindell had all this information, why hasn't he released it already? What is he waiting for? There are no active audits or formal investigations about the election results, the ballots or how they were counted. Where is this new information he has going to come from and how did some jerkoff pillow salesman get this information in the first place. If "there's all kind of evidence all over the place", why is it not being presented in court?
You're being lied to. You're being deceived and played for a sucker. I actually feel bad for you because you are so hopelessly lost.
