What is the possible solution you see to the Russia Ukraine crisis?

I, personally, think that, Ukraine will be divided in two parts. The East and The West.
Just like Germany after WWII.

This compromise from both the parties is very much necessary so as to not have any kind of economic, geographic, historic, inhuman damage. No more damage than the present.

What do you think about my solution? What is your solution?

Keep up pressure by sanctions and keep increasing military aid to Ukraine.
Not just man portable weapons but long range SAM:s, tactical missiles, Anti-ship missiles, fighter jets, etc.
At some point Putler will leave office whether by retirement, natural death or assassination.
By that time Russia must have been bled both military and economically to the extent that his successor is eager to agree to a peace treaty even if no gains have been made by the war and Russia calls it a draw returning to 2013 borders.
However Russia shouldn't be unnecessarily punished after their defeat.
No liberating Königsberg or Kurils or keeping sanctions after we got what we wanted.

I think it will ultimately turn out into a quagmire style slog.
Both sides will have to make certain concessions.
It also really depends on how far NATO is willing to go.

I think the better solution is a coup within Russia. I have a feeling that Russians do not like Putin but fear him too much to protest. I think most would be happy to see him gone and to see a normalization of relations with the US.

Good question I am thinking about it. About your thougnt I dont think russia want ukraine because it is buffer that does not have meaning to close Poland. If so probably occupy coastal cities. However russia is federal. Ukraine can join in. I think Putin did a lot for the world. He saw the pattern of the world cracking under USA structure. It is like social movements need all raise up together. So I think he get the goal already, Even though Ukraine is the agent of USA but the way of thinking still base on reality. Like USA would get rid of your idea by speaking English. You know they were isolationism before. Now become it. So need to hear third world's voice to rebuilt rules. I think USA still dont understand what it means. They are just like changing their habit no way. Challenge their position.

That isn't a solution. Ukraine would maintain the East is just occupied territory. The same claim they made about Donbass. They will not cede on inch of land to Russia.

So what you propose is just a stalemate. We would arm Ukraine and there would be a militarized border until we broke the Russian economy enough until they relented.

Just like what happened in the Cold War.

Deliver enough weapons into Ukrainian hands so that they can destroy every Russian tank, shoot down every Russian aircraft and kill every Russian soldier. So that the only available solution for the invader is to leave that country.

The only solution is that Russia withdraws its army from Ukraine, Putin is arrested and tried for War Crimes, Crimes against Humanity and Crimes against Civilization, and Finally Russia pays reparations to Ukraine to rebuild the Country.
