The work till you drop mentality in USA and eastern countries which has this culture that risks physical and mental health for the bottom line for some corporate entity. I’ve seen my mentor pass out from work exhaustion and the company didn’t really care, fellow co workers and myself burn ourselves out with long hours over 10 day straight as the higher ups sit in their corporate office and taking half days whenever they want, etc.


This crab in a bucket mindset of working without a healthy balance is depressing and I was lucky to escape certain fates while other’s didn’t.

The abortion and miscarriage taboo. Like, if you have a miscarriage, that is nothing to be ashamed about nor should it be looked down upon. Yes, it is very sad and overwhelming when an expecting mother has a miscarriage, but just because they had a miscarriage, shouldn't be looked too deeply in. Nothing is going to happen to them after women has a miscarriage. It is not a bad omen, either.
For the abortion, if you cannot support your child financially, physically and emotionally, then don't have a child. Even if they aren't going to treat them right, get the abortion. Or they could put them up for adoption if they were forced or pressured to have the child. Not only this, but for their health as well. If the woman wants to abort, then let her. It is saddening that a woman follows the taboo, haves the baby, but dies during pregnancy.
