If you asked me whether or not I intend to make conditions for you, your profession, demographic or alike better I could tell you that this is not a current priority or in the budget. I very likely do not get your vote.

I could also tell you that I would very much like to do so. That X or Y has to come first, if I ecen mention that, but that your wants and needs are justified and deserve to be met. You might still vote for me in that case.

It inherently rewards small misrepresentation and does not hold people accountable. Greed would be a matter of where you live. Not every country has legalised bribing politicans.

In a democracy usually to attained and maintain power you have to lie, distort the truth and deflect blame and responsibllity at least a little otherwise you won't win or stay power long.

I tend to think it's filled more with the bureaucracy. Bureaucracies tend to turn anyone aiming to do anything into a hypocrite because they tend to have to compromise their vision so much to get everyone else to agree to do anything that they have to sacrifice their values along the way or get nothing done except to be an outspoken outcast.

Everybody try to demonise politics, just to justify their disinterest in it. If politics is full of lies and greed, it's because the people who feed it are full of lies and greed. Nothing more. Those guys don't get there from thin air. They're elected.

Anytime there is so much money at stake politicians will do anything to get elected. This often means bribes and kick backs. Andin the case of the last election, outright fraud and voter manipulation.
