Why is a person accused of being racist if?

Why is a person accused of being racist if they happen to dislike ONE person of a particular race?

I was telling someone that I don’t like this one person because of their personality, I don’t think they are a nice person and have been rude to me. And then the person called me a racist and a bigot because the person happens to be black? but it’s got nothing to do with their race, it’s how they act towards me. Why are people so quick to accuse people of being racists in this situation?

It’s because we have gone too far the other way, in my opinion. There’s not being racist and taking precautions to not be. Which is good in a society. And then there’s control, as another person said, disguised as just being “overly sensitive”. The whole thing is just a way for someone to have power over someone else. By calling them a racist when they are not being racist, they are trying to control the person.
