So Uvalde cops didn't move in until 40 min after…what can we count on?

Guns obviously! Think about it. Guns are not the problem people are the problem. Cops didn’t arrive until 40 mins afterwards. Let’s say your home and someone breaks in 1, 2 maybe 3 people with guns. You have your family there, maybe kids nieces you call the police they will come eventually but how long until most of your family is dead. Guns are good to have BUT they must not be take lightly. There’s a lot of training that goes into it like driving a car and getting a license. A gun is not a toy and only responsible people should have them. With that said guns are the problem the problem is the people who choose to commit these crimes yet not one was capable of preventing this because no one was armed.

The very same people would have me arrested, charged, and prosecuted if I did something that somebody who isn’t me has labeled as “a crime”, even if I disagree with that. Clearly, these are not my allies. I expect no protection from them, only potential persecution.

Obviously we can’t count on the police in this city. This is why we need guns you either need to have a good police force that it is fully funded which you guys want to defund the police. Or we have guns would you guys want to take away.

Finally someone who is striking at the root. Everyone is so busy talking about guns and cops and funding and no one has stopped to think "why did this kid chose to kill so many people and get himself killed in the end?" I can only imagine the trauma he went through for years in an unforgiving society enough to make him snap and chose to end as many lives as he could treat the kid and this won't even be a discussion
