What do you guys think about the school shootng that happened in texas?

How do you think that could have been prevented and should they change the laws in the states. I ahte when i hear people say it's a constitutional right. Its outdated, its time for a change. America is the only place that kind if things happens over and over again. When is it going to be enough. People are going to think this is okay and it's going to keep happening. Until either they get shot at by police or the laws change. I guarantee you if a black man did this he would never have a chance to surrender. (That last sentence was regagrding the grocery store shooting)

I think the Texas school shooting and the Sandy Hook school shootings of children are two of the worse things imaginable for me. When those happened I was shocked that anyone would do such a horrible thing. It's beyond evil, it's a sign that our western society is sick in a way. These shooters want the most attention possible and to be remembered. The fact that there's more guns than people in the United States just makes it the perfect storm that could keep happening.
Sometimes I think the United States is too far gone and they might be better off doing online schooling for small children if they can't get control of things.

Their system is broken because it's money from special interest lobby groups that control the politicians on both sides. They can't really do anything to fix this and their recent history has proven that. It's time for parents to pull their kids from school and threaten to cripple the whole system until the government is forced to do something.

Cupabilty is the word mow. The teacher that prop the door open now they say she came back in and close the door by or let it be swing and it did not look. I think that teacher has a lot of cupabilty.

Yup- I'd have to agree. Look at ILL-inois- some of the strongest gun laws, and some of the highest murder counts in the country. The laws will just restrict law-abiding citizens - the real thugs will ALWAYS be able to get their hands on an illegal weapon. People need to realize that these guns do NOT just fire by themselves. I was insulted as a kid, etc. ad nauseam, but I never shot anyone. These thugs will do it because they know with almost complete certainty that they. will get off SOMEhow.

There could have been proper measures implemented long ago but people seem to think banning guns is the best solution.

Like with drunk drivers how do we best limit or prevent it? With proper education and discipline or do we just ban the sale of vehicles and confiscate all cars.

Ar15s aren’t the probably they are one of hundreds of semi auto rifles. Why aren’t they going after AK47s or M4s etc. People can do mass shootings with shotguns, pistols etc.

The issue at hand isn’t banning one gun or one mechanism ie full/semi auto or bolt action but rather banning all. If democrats seem to care about our Constitution as they did when Trump was elected then why do they push measures that impede on our Bill of Rights

The law was passed in 1791 so you dont think times have changed since then. So you'd rather this keep happening so you can keep your guns. And nothing is wrong with Canada other than debt. n We dont have school shooting or mass shootings. Same with other countries but you tell me why that is. That was when slavery was happening.
