But the concept as well as the first two rules are totally disrespectful of the man’s thoughts and opinions. Sooo how do you explain that? Man tax? Give me a fricking break. You want money, earn it.
If you voted for yes your part of the problem with todays society.
I do not believe that the gender pay gap exists because in a capitalistic country such as US, one gets paid for how much value they bring to the company irrespective of gender. Another thing is that if companies could get away with paying women less than men, then they would exclusively employ women to maximize their profits.
Why not just give women a discount? That's better for business and you can always hike the price 18% so men are still overcharged and women actually pay normal with their 18% discount. This way with the tax seems much more divisive than it needs to be.
Is that even legal? Because it seems like it's not legal. Last time I checked, taxes need to be instituted by the government and implemented by the elected representatives of the voters. I'm pretty sure random store owners don't have authority to levy taxes.
Only if women that make more than a man get to pay the same tax.
It would be impossible to enforce, but it must be done equally.
And in today's society who determines what person is what sex?
How do you sort that one out.
What do you do with the gender neutral people.
It seems pretty complicated now to determine who would pay what.

The pay gap has been debunked so many tines that we on the right are tired of explaining the obvious to morons.
There is no gender wage gap. Women work less hours, take more time off for maternity leave or vacation time and don’t work the same high paying jobs as men. Gender pay gap is the accumulation of all female wages and all male wages without taking into account the individual differences. That is why there is a gap, it’s deceptive and only further supports the Big Lie democrats want us to continue living in.

I would not be surprised if such a thing were tried in California - but ti would not last very long since that is a lawsuit waiting to happen here in the US.
All my life I’ve had higher salary than men around me, I wouldn’t charge anyone more just because they are men.
No, the wage gap is fictional at best. They literally took the income of all women, divided it by the income of all men and came up with a number. When you take into account personal choice, the wage gap vanishes.

I mean you’re allowed to make your own policy since it’s your own store, just not the direction I would’ve gone with. It could really rub in the wrong way for everyone. Everyone who supports equal wages would just see this as virtue signaling. Every person who really misogynistic would just get upset about it. Not a great business strategy.
Every single example of a store or restaurant using a "man tax" has backfired tremendously to the point of being forced to cease all operations. So, for the sake of businesses, no tax against either gender should be applied. If a "woman tax" was applied, said business would have been forced to cease all operations the moment it were to open.
This just made me remember people can go to maximum levels to prove their stupidity is their greatest strength.
I would not want to give any money to these people, nor frequent their premises. But then I am an agent of the patriarchy. But what's worse is I just don't seem to care.
More to the point, I don't believe their maths and the chip on their shoulders is just tedious.
