Why is it a lot of liberals/SJW tend to use the argument "ever case is unique" when discussing about social issues?

I don't get how these people think anything would progress in this world if we disregarded every rule/law created by man just because in a small amount of cases it does not hold true. The biggest offenders of this type of behavior, I must say are women who will use this stance when any sex/gender base question is directed at them.

How do these people even function in this world when they can't come to an agreement or hold a firm stance on a social/gender issue unless every individual case is accounted for? Trends are created for a reason people, so that we can analyze the general pattern of the majority to determine whether things are moving in a positive or negative direction. This is how we start social change by first identifying if an issue is there that affects the majority.

The sad thing about these people is that they think their intellectual and morally superior for thinking like this.
I am SJW. I am super unique and we must cant talk about any issues because every case must by examined.
