Like the U. S. is concerned about people in the world or even U. S. citizens starving. LOL
The U. S. is fucking Ukraine for the sole purpose of fucking with Russia. All of a sudden, the U. S. loves people who, up to five years ago, it condemned as Nazis. Suddenly it rebranded them as freedom fighters, just like it did with head-chopping ISIS/al Qaida affiliates in Syria.
The big players on the global stage are raking in huge profits from the economic depression caused by U. S. meddling in Ukraine. It's all by design.
do you see middle east turmoil coming out of lack of food supplies? last time this happened... didn't go well.
''A starving world'' is much exaggerated.
Where obesity hade become the ''normal'' - a food shortage can only be beneficial.
Also - in ''my'' hosting country food imports from Ukraine are minimal.
The whole thing - once again - is rather a PR stunt.
Thailand produces a lot of their own food so I've heard, not sure that counts. I hope you are right, but the middle east is a sensitive area. India had a bad wheat harvest and last checked... wasn't exporting. Ukraine is on the ropes whether they can get stuff out and produce crops. Lets hope USA farmers have a good year and didn't fall apart with the rise in fuel and fertilizer costs...
Hungry people creates new problems didn't have before...
I agree with the hunger.
From what I ''know'' about the U. S., there's sufficient own capacity to produce enough food. The trouble perhaps is, that (many) people have gotten used to having too much at any given time... and having it at lower prices because of the greed-side of ''capitalism''.
It's also a bit of culture involved: ''here'', the basic carbohydrates staple is rice. Wheat, potatoes and such isn't requested that much.
I think that in regards of protein- China is a real threat: they over-fish and loot overseas places to satisfy their own insatiable demand.
If we ever see a global ''war'' - then it will be about food (and fresh-water perhaps).

No, it needs to be a UN mission, using UN assets from countries not currently involved.
South Africa, Algeria, Egypt, South Korea, South American Countries such as Brazil,
usually I would say India, however I don’t think anyone could trust them at the moment,
Bullshit,
The USA and others just want to secure their food supplies, now that they've fucked up Ukraine like they did everywhere else they "intervened".
You'd think the USA would learn it's lesson that it has NEVER improved any intervention it's got involved in.
From Vietnam to Afghanistan, if there is one constant fuckup, it's the USA. It's the school shooter of the international scene.
Please…a little depth please. Aid workers are Military and it’s the beginning of the reoccupation and overthrow of Putin’s forthcoming puppet regime.
what?
We are dumping billions into Ukraine. We should be getting something for it.
Ukraine never did nothing for our country they used to be our enemy once when they were one with the Soviet Union why should we support a country that threatening to start a Cold War
I don't think Russia would be stupid enough to sink US ships
You can't grow food when your country is being bombed. We can't escort out what isn't there.
Escort in or out? I thought the US has been pouring like $60B into Ukraine. Why would we be taking food out?
