Fully support it, there is pretty much support across NATO for Ukraine, yes the US is paying more, however one thing people need to remember is a lot of the support is for already built systems and there is also kit that is being bought from seized Russian assets. There is a lot of twisted news saying what is provided and not all of it is actual cash. There Russians also have a huge number of bots or fake news generator accounts, on Twitter is a good example and NAFO and other run bot checks for fake accounts. Remember this was a 3 day special operation against the 2nd best global military power with some of the best weapon systems in the world with wonder weapon tanks, planes and missiles.
There are now US, German and UK tanks fighting in Russia, huge amounts of damage is being inflicted on Russian forces and infrastructure. Not bad what is a 3 day war that was seen as a walkover. If Russia does win in Ukraine, then Poland and others know they are next, hence buying a lot of US systems they would have not otherwise bought. Those companies employ US citizens.
I'm not opposed to it as we're all technically a part of this war by being a part of NATO, but I do think it's too much of a drain on everyone's resources.
I think the smarter thing to do would have been to let Putin have Ukraine and have all the Ukranians immigrate to other countries in NATO. It wasn't worth losing all of those lives because Putin's power hungry ass didn't want NATO to expand further.
Putin is a genuine psychopath and needs to be put down, but we need to tread carefully as the dude has threatened anyone who interferes, that he'll start nuclear war and Russia has the most nukes at hand currently... even more than the US, so we're in serious trouble if he acts on that.
World War 3 is extremely possible at this point. As much as I support Ukraine, I genuinely do think that the power is in the people, and they should never have chosen to listen to dumbass Zelensky who didn't want to give up Ukraine.
I wish world leaders would just have a duel or something (fight among themselves) so all these innocent people did not have to fight and die like pawns.

I support the US taking their role in ending the conflict. We are are an instigator and essential to ending it for fear and security, in my views, are the issues.
Cutting off supplies after suckign them into a war is disgusting.
Continuing the mess without actively working to end it, is disgusting.
Im more concerned about the long term damage done.
Some people made bad decisions electing certain politicians and the result is a lot of dead, murdered, tortured, disabled humans. Think harder about what you do, and take responsibility for your actions... for you own what your politicians decide.
USA have nothing to do with Russia invasion.
And even USA didn't respect the memorandum of Budapest from 1994, witch obligate them to declare war on Russia.
Because this treaty whas not respected at last now you pay in wapens for Ukraine to protect the WORLD.
@Alexandrubaschet08 I don't believe what you just said, does not align with what I've seen of history.
@msc545 I agree with you! Corporate interests (military industrial in this case) drive the policy decisions. And that is a reason I learned to favor trump, in spire of his obvious flaws as a human. He is not sub serviant to "the beast". Do you see Harris having the strength to listen to those voices... and go against them? Those are the hard decisions Presidents make, that are life altering for millions.
Who suport Trump will face the WW3 in the future for shure.
In 1995 we convinced them to give up their only bargaining chip when the Soviet Union broke up, their nukes. They were the fifth largest nuclear power in the world at that time. We absolutely guaranteed their security against Russian aggression in 1995!!! in 2015 Putin invaded the Crimea and we did jack shit other than sanctions. We left them hanging. Just as an aside, don't you think that Taiwan and NATO and Israel were watching what we did? That our word was no good? So here we are again and we had better get it right this time and defend them like we said we would!!
no. fuck that. this war just exists, cause the democrats are incompetent leaders. why do you think that under obama, russia annexed the krimea, under trump they did nothing and under biden they straight up attacked? democrats don't have what it takes in international relations. and traditionally, the usa would make sure to benefit from such wars, which they're not even doing that. they're losing money financing a focuntries fight that can not possibly ever win cause somehow they believe they can integrate ukraine into nato to just use that as a strategical point to place nukes against russia right next to russian border. like they're insulting putins intelligence.
it's like stop messing with this man. he's crazy but he's not stupid and irrational. keep him in check by accepting the hard boundaries that any country would set.
Russia is getting their teeth kicked in like usa did fighting the war on terrorism in the grand scheme of things. You need a justifiable war goal to win a modern age war.
At the same time we have to think about China and Taiwan and north Korea in general. If we give an inch to Russia all three will take a mile. That's how ww3 will start.
As of right now no one wants to jump into a losing fight by themselves. Russia did it with hackers with proof wanting don elected without don knowledge. Muller report. Don is an isolationist and will create ww3 with the enemy getting enough ground and global power to take on United States of America.
Support since it is against Communist scum and against Putin. I saw the stealing of artifacts from Ukrainian museums, mass grave sites of innocent civilians buried, dead Russian soldiers left behind by their military forces, Russia sending missiles into Children Hospitals & Vladimir Zelensky’s hometown just so Ukrainians would turn on him, madness I tell ya.
I support it, and think Ukraine should be supported until they've brought down the Russia government and claim the country themselves.
If one don't see the benefit morally from this, then think of it of as who do you think will be willing to make better deals Zelensky or Putin?
I think we can all safely bet Zelensky and Ukraine would be grateful to all the countries helping it and would make a great partnership in the future compared to Putin.
I am mixed. I do support Ukraine fighting Russia and protecting itself but I am kind of like... give them enough so they can win the war and expel Russia. Quit giving them just enough to keep the war going to where it is a stalemate for endless years and we have to keep giving them weapons over and over and over. I don't want this to go on for 10 years.
I oppose it. The US started this war or at least caused it and the US is the only country that benefits from it financially. The ukrainians don't because all the money that they get from the US they have to spend on weapons that they have to buy from US manufacturers. The Russians don't benefit either. It is very likely that if we stop giving the ukrainians money and free weapons occasionally that they would make a peace deal with the Russians, assuming that it's possible at this point.
And what would be the terms of such a "peace deal"?
@Ad_Quid_Orator Ukraine remain neutral instead of joining NATO which is what Russia wanted all along. Ukraine and Russia did agree to a peace deal mediated by Turkey and Israel, but we sent over Boris Johnson over to sabotage it and talk Ukraine into continuing to fight because war is more profitable than war.
NATO agreeing not to admit Ukraine, in my opinion won't up and end the war just like that, but it will be a major step towards ending the war. Ukraine joining NATO has always been a red line for Russia, they don't want our/NATO weapons on their border anymore then we didn't want Soviet missiles in Cuba.
@Ad_Quid_Orator
Not all territory, but a few regions, like the Donbas, voted to leave Ukraine, and part of the reason, is many of it's citizens are ethnically Russian who were negatively effected by the 2014 CIA backed coup d'état that sparked a civil war. Ukraine war is a very complex issue, and people are foolish for believing, Putin/Russia, woke up one day and decided to just invade Ukraine, things have been brewing ever since we started pushing NATO to the east.
@llorando Putin also has been withdrawing troops form his new frontier with NATO on the Finish border to fight Ukraine so NATO expansion was just a pretext to sell the war to the Russian people. No, Putin didn't one day "wake up and decide to invade Ukraine" just like Bush didn't wale up one day and decide to invade Iraq. But both invasions were out of malicious and self serving intent.
The US didn't invade Cuba and the only reason there was a question of the US setting up missile bases in Ukraine is because Russia violated intermediate-range missile treaties with their development of hypersonic missiles. Also, the coup regime who came to power in 2014 was voted out in 2019.
Donbas didn't vote to leave Ukraine. Even if you take the referendum at face value Russian forces didn't control all the Donbass (or Kherson or Zaporizhia; in fact they didn't control the capital city of the latter when the referendum was conducted).
This war isn't being fought because the people of the Eastern part of Donbas want to be part of Russia; it's being fought because the rest of Ukraine doesn't.
@Ad_Quid_Orator I never said the war was being because Donbas wanted to join NATO was simply pointing out, areas (not all but some) willingly voted to join Russia. Yes, we didn't invade Cuba, because Kennedy went against many in his cabinet (who wanted to air strike missile sites then invade) and took the diplomatic rout. The regime was voted out in 2019 with Zelensky wining in a land slide, and a big factor in him winning, was he campaigned on signing a peace deal, which he did not do as he was threatened by both ultra rightist in his government and the US/NATO. Forgot to mention earlier, the money were giving Ukraine, are loans that come with stipulations that Ukraine has to put government assets (including farmland) up for sale to western corporations if they aren't paid back back, which Ukraine won't be able to pay back, basically were sending Ukrainians off to be slaughtered protecting land/assets that's being bought up by western corporations. FYI, I want to be clear, opposing the disastrous Ukraine proxy war doesn't mean you support or condone what Putin/Russia is doing, you can both hate Putin/Russia and disagree with the war that only serves to benefit defense contractors and other western corporations.
Jeffery Sachs has a good take on the Ukraine war and is worth a listen.

@llorando "The regime was voted out in 2019 with Zelensky wining in a land slide, and a big factor in him winning, was he campaigned on signing a peace deal, which he did not do as he was threatened by both ultra rightist in his government and the US/NATO."
And what were the US and NATO go to do if he didn't go along? Invade? Did it really never occur to you that he couldn't bring peace because that's not what Putin wanted?
"Forgot to mention earlier, the money were giving Ukraine, are loans that come with stipulations that Ukraine has to put government assets (including farmland) up for sale to western corporations if they aren't paid back back, which Ukraine won't be able to pay back, basically were sending Ukrainians off to be slaughtered protecting land/assets that's being bought up by western corporations."
It's not just loans, a lot of the money we've given to Ukraine was in the form of Gulf-War era military hardware that we've had lying on the shelves. But here's what people have to get through their heads: this logic that by sending weapons to people fighting an invader, you're causing more war may apply to guerrilla conflicts/insurgencies BUT it does not apply to situations were the defenders have held the line. So many have pointed out that the civilian death toll in Ukraine is so much lower than in wars the US has fought. But why is that? Oh, right that's why:

And no, it's not because of any "restraint" Russia has shown.
The less the US gives, the more the Russian army advances and the more Ukrainians die. But if you cut off the tap the Ukrainian armed forces were never going to just crumble so the Russians occupy their country and commit one massacre after another on their people; I know that makes you sad. If western corporations buy up Ukrainian farmlands, that's not ideal but it beats the alternative.
But Zelensky has opened up his country for investment (not exploitation, INVESTMENT) and if they win, Ukraine will have many buyers and be in a good bargaining position so he can pay off the loans. But unfortunately many people have this occidentalist mindset where the West only seeks to exploit others. I mean don't get me wrong that's all to often the case but it doesn't mean that's what solely drives Western policy.
Oppose, all's were doing is prolonging a proxy war that Ukraine can't win and could have been avoided, if we just allowed them to remain neutral. We should be focusing on ending the war not adding fuel to the fire. All's were doing is sending innocent Ukrainians off to be slaughtered so defense contractors get their payday and people feel validated in their hatred of Putin.
UKRAINE HAVE THE RIGHT TO DECIDE FOR THEYR OWN NATION AND JOYNING EU AND NATO SHOULD NOT BE THE BUISNIS OF RUSSIA.
THE WAR COULD HAD BEEN AVOIDED IF RUSSIA WAS RESPECTING THE DECISION OF AN ENTIRE NATION.
MY COUNTRY JOYN NATO AS WELL AT ONE TIME AND RUSSIA ANGRY ASK US "WHY?" (RUSSIA IS A CRIMINAL NATION FROM ALASE, THERE IS NO TIME IN HISTORY WHEN RUSSIA HAD BEEN A DEMOCRATIC NATION IN ANY WAY OR ANOTHER.
THEYR FIRST EVER TZAR EVEN KILL ITS OWN SON, THEY INVADE MORE THEN 200 NATIONS AND ENSLAVE THEM TILL TODAY IN POVERTY AND LIFESTILE LIKE 500 YARES AGO.
SLAVA UKRAINA!!!
@Alexandrubaschet08 Russia didn't want US/NATO weapons on it's border just like the US didn't want Soviet missiles in Cuba, should Cuba instead of the US had the right to decide if they wanted Soviet missiles in their country? https://youtu.be/mbNvagE7BcM?si=T6ND1OUxZA8BsDsA
It whasn't the decision of Cuba, USSR want to put them as close to USA as a treat, even if USSR and USA are neughbour. Europe need security from Russia and that why they need to protect themself against the moust criminal nation on Eart (Russia). In my opinion USSR should had never had anything to say and USSR=NAZY GERMANY! USA should had bomb the shit of that nation long time ago, right afther WW2 end in 1945. Afther Japan Moskow should had been next target
I supported it originally. Not as much anymore. I think it's been too long and too expensive. We should've funded them enough to repel the Russian invasion, and then negotiated a peace. We'd tell Ukraine we'd stop funding their war effort if they don't stop, and we tell Russia we'd fund them to the end if they don't.
So long as the US remains a member of NATO, and NATO has decided to help Ukraine, the US should send military aide to Ukraine, as well as helping other NATO members maintain their security.
Oppose. Why not stay out of it. Biden ran his big mouth daring Russia to do something. How many have died?
Biden wasn't POTUS in 2014 when Putin annexed Crimea. This is only step 2
Sabre rattling, ultimatums and action is bad?
Thous who oppose are just russian robots or very stupid creatures
Anyone who opposes it is an ignorant fool. The consequences of Russia taking over Ukraine would be dire for the US and the world.
THE BEST ANSWER FROM ALL OF THEM!!! LOVE YOUR OPINION MAN!!! SLAVA UKRAINE!!! LONG LIVE THIS USA AND THIS KINDE OF CITAZIANS!!!
what we are doing for Ukraine is nothing different than what the French did for the colonists in the American Revolution.
Great comparison!!!
As part of a UN and/or NATO mission, not (right now) as a stand-alone military effort.
I oppose, and I'm not a Russian.
But I am Slavic, and it's enough of conflict between two Slavic nations.
I'm sick of supporting Ukraine.
THEN GO AN LIVE IN RUSSIA. NO MATHER FROM WHERE YOU ARE, OVER THER THEY DON'T SUPORT UKRAINE.
OR N. KOREA OR CHINA OR IRAN.
SO MANY OPTIONS FOR YOU
The US is not supporting Ukraine at all. Don't make the mistake of believing that this is what it is about. Instead the US is supporting its own defense contractors by giving Ukraine money to spend buying weapons from the defense contractors who are profiting greatly from this war. The US defense contractors in many ways run US foreign policy.
@Dongie whitch country?
@Dongie no, English is not my first language. I'm not a right or left suporter, i suport what is right at the time.
@Dongie as much as i can aford. And i did. I like Zelenski because in compare with Afganistan leadears he didn't run away , that how any country face Russia.
I think we spent enough over there.
I THINK ONLY PUTIN AGREE WITH YOU.
We just gave the money to the ukrainians who in turn gave it to US defense contractors in exchange for weapons that sometimes work and sometimes don't but cost a bundle of money. So you see the US government was really just giving the money to US defense contractors with the ukrainians acting as the Bagmen. In many ways this was similar to Michael Cohen acting as Trump's bagman. Without of course the rather embarrassing legal ending.
USA and UK not that they should suport financialy and military Ukraine but they should had declar war in 2014 on Rusia for invading Ukrain (Crimea). That they agree in 1994 at Budapest, to protect theyr border and independency in exchange of the nuklear wapens that they agree to give to Russia. Ukrain in 1994 own around 3000 nuklear rokets.
The last thing anybody needs is another dumb war
Europe should be paying for all the aid.
100% oppose
100% FOOL
@Alexandrubaschet08 then it sound like you should grab a rifle and head over
If i whas ukrainian yes. But for me and my nation "My enemy (Ukraine), enemy (Russia) is my friend". Ukrain should fight till theyr last power with or without USA, is theyr land, theyr country, theyr independent decision. Nobady can tell to a nation what to do if they want something diferent.
