MCheetah here. I'm just posting this "anon" just to give all the people who blocked me a chance to answer as well, since most of them are super-Progressive SJW types. And no, I don't usually post (or like) political questions, but this one's been on my mind all day. I'm not even attacking Biden like so many of you do with Trump long after he's left the White House and has been kicked off of social media.

I just think it's funny how everyone said "anyone but Trump" and you're not even halfway through Biden's term yet. It's only been a year and a half, boys. I don't even own a car or use gas, by the way. I'm personally doing fine, but I know things are bad with many people right now.

Yes, they can complain about them too.

I'm not saying "Biden did everything related to gas prices and inflation in America," but the Biden Administration has made things *exponentially worse* directly due to their decisions of spending trillions during COVID lockdown, sitting on oil reserves, and discontinuing the Keystone pipeline because of some false environmentalist arguments.

I've asked a question on this site asking Biden voters why they voted for him. This is the answer: "He's not Trump" Seriously? This is how lame the Dems are? OK, I get that they hate Trump because he is mean, but why Biden?

I then ask who voted for Biden in the primaries. Apparently nobody did. They all wanted Bernie, Tulisi or Yang. No one wanted sleepy Joe. But somehow sleepy Joe beat out the 24 more competent candidates. It was like magic, and the Dems accept this. And don't even get me started on Kamala. She was the first of the 25 candidates to wash out in the primaries, and most likely this witch will be the president after this fall's blood bath that turns the house and senate red.

If the Dems were just voting against Trump, I get it. But then why not at least put up a candidate with a working brain? Because the DNC didn't want a candidate with a working brain; they wanted Joe. He's easy to control, and everything "he" does, is destroying America. Perfect.

As a business major, I can tell you that the presidents policies do little to significantly affect gas prices. The Keystone pipeline did raise prices, but not to the astronomical amount people suggest.

Events in one country can and do have rippling effects world wide with gas prices. Supply and demand is also a major factor. Factor in the cost of getting gas and oil to their destinations.

Right now, in Europe, gas prices are quite a bit higher than here in the US and they don't have Biden.

There are countries in Sputh America (again, no Biden) where the price per gallon is significantly lower than in the US because demand for gas there is lower.

Yes, but the gas prices are higher in Europe because they DIRECTLY relied n Russia for oil, and then cut themselves off entirely when Putin invaded Ukraine. If they didn't rely so heavily on Russia, then would be much better off the US right now.

Obviously, gas prices and inflation would happen in places outside the US, but the US is being hit the hardest right now out of any first world nation BECAUSE of the Biden Administration. They are not 100% to blame and I never said they were; but much of it IS due to them, and most of the inflation is directly due to them, due to spending trillions of dollars while Americans were forced out of work BY THEM! The Biden Administration discontinued the pipelines and sat on oil reserves, even giving some to Ukraine.

So no, I'm not saying "Biden did everything" related to gas prices and inflation, but the Biden Administration has made things exponentially worse directly due to their decisions, inflation far more so than gas prices.

That's not even my question, anyway. But considering things were made WORSE by Biden, and would've been far better without him, do the Liberals that voted for him have any right to complain when his team threw the gasoline onto the fire.

I think you have to assign different levels of responsibility to different people. The average American has no clue what they're voting for; those people can't be blamed. They voted for Biden because the media lied to them and made them scared of allowing Trump to continue holding office. They've never been given a reason to distrust the media before, so none of this is their fault.

I've argued with many on here, providing them evidence and counter points, and all they do is ignore it all and lick Biden's anus, anyway. Even though I pointed out the US is the fourth worst suffering country on the planet right now with inflation and gas prices and gave the exact reasons why and how the Biden administration directly contributed to that.

An intelligent person could factor in a lot of scenarios and things that have happened and deduce why things are the way they are. I said, the CURRENT situation the US is in, is due to the Biden administration and that the people who voted for him have no right to complain about gas being $7 a gallon in America right now. The gas prices are largely due to Biden, but not 100%. While inflation is MOSTLY due to Biden for spending trillions of dollars while also keeping people out of work last year. Or did you now see the charts?

If people who weren't out to intentionally destroy America were in charge right now, things would've still taken a hit due to Russia, but would not be nearly as catastrophic as they are now. Almost all of the inflation is directly Biden's fault, and the gas prices would've been minimized if Biden didn't cancel the Keystone pipeline because a bunch of incorrect hippies didn't whine about it.

Biden chose not to continue the Keystone pipeline because of the angry environmentalists (who's anger was unjustified as there were no real "environmental concerns"). He also chose NOT to use the millions of oil reserves they are currently sitting on (hell, some of them got shipped to Ukraine, BEFORE use in the US).

Keystone XL pipeline is meant to have Canadian oil bypass USA and exit into the international markets. Oil producers are also sitting on plenty of claims that they are not using because they do not want to increase production and lower the price of oil that their current wells are producing.

Well I wouldn't like to think that I wasn't being open minded about this so perhaps you could explain this oil pipe line thing to me from your perspective, as you see it.

I'm not particularly invested in this, it was a story, I looked it up the explanation given was that the pipeline was routed through protected habitat and thats why it was shut down. The is nothing difficult to understand about that or far fetched, some guy breaks the rules for a pay day or to help his mates or class interest or maybe he just doesn't give a shit about the environment and thought it might help him in some way, whatever, it doesn't really matter.

But now your position seems very different to me, because if you are saying that the pipeline was not cancelled because of the environmental issue then what is it that you are saying exactly? What is the motivation supposed to be? That Biden hates Americans having oil?
