You can get into this subject and go chasing after rabbit holes all day long. It's pointless and silly. The court has spoken and they overturned Roe V Wade! Put your big person pants on and adjust to this. There will still be abortions in the US. You may not like it if you live in a state that either has or soon will prohibit them. In this case move or travel to a state that allows abortions if you need one. What people have a hard time understanding is the United States is a Constitutional Federal Republic that at one time respected the 10th amendment. What the SCOTUS did, in this case, was place these decisions BACK to where they belonged to start with, the STATES! One thing that pisses me off more than anything else is how woeful American Governmant and Civics are understood by today's generations!
It’s a step back. You’re now officially a backward country where religious zealots have too much power over society. Start preparing little white caps and red robes for your handmaid’s, Gilead is coming.

So sad.. Is this the Middle Ages? According to the United Nations, bodily autonomy is a fundamental human right. The right of a woman or girl to make autonomous decisions about her own body and reproductive functions is at the core of her basic rights to equality, privacy, and bodily integrity.

Did they not just say individual states have to decide? So ultimately abortion comes down to democracy. So if you want abortion then vote
After COVID, the population number decrease. It seems like the government thinks that by depriving women from their rights, they will regain population control. Lol I bet if men were the ones menstruating every month, tampons would be free. If they were the ones giving birth, abortion would be available. It is for shit like this that women have no respect or consideration for men because instead of standing side by side, they have this drive to control in the name of religion, politics and bullshit. I’m tellin ya, shit is about to go down!
The only reason women get abortion is for cosmetic reasons. They don't want to look fat and unattractive. There's always adoption but they prefer killing a baby for so they gain baby fat and can still attract a man.
There is women who get abortions because they don’t feel ready to bring a child to a nonsensical world. Others because they were sexually abused, some do it to continue with their careers. Adoption is the worse option there could be, why? Because tax payers have to pay for the growth of a child who most likely will feel unloved and rejected for the rest of his life thanks to the of a system and woman. No, the issue goes beyond cosmetic reasons. If men want kids so bad, why don’t they go adopting kids that really need parents not only in the states but also around the world.
No you're wrong. What you're talking about is foster care not adoption. Adoptive parents have to pay 50k to adopt a child and most adoptive parents are wealthy. Some of them have 7 kids and want more. Celebrities like Kim Kardashians adopt kids. Most adoptive parents want a new born or up to 3 years old. Babies don't get put in foster care. Older children get put in there. Foster care is shitty that's because no one wants the older kids because a lot of them have behavior problems. Foster parents are just doing it for extra money and adoptive parents actually want the kids. So just give the baby up at birth and they won't struggle.
Population has been dropping in the industrialized world for decades, as fewer and fewer women are having enough kids to even sustain their families much-less the population.
Right now theses cultures and women who put education and career first are weeding themselfs out of the human population. Ending abortion will help forestall our collapse but its not enough by itself in a world with contraceptives.
Only the federal government can regulate interstate and foreign commerce, declare war and set taxing, spending and other national policies. These actions often start with legislation from Congress, made up of the 435-member House of Representatives and the 100-member U. S. Senate.
If men were...😂😂😂😂 If women were the majority of homeless, killed in wars, killed at work , killed in general... you best believe that shit would be fixed quick, fast and yesterday. Shut the fuck up and keep your legs closed
@grega239 women already do those this moron. Stop trying to control women, instead keep your fucking little dick unaroused if you see a woman with revealing clothes in the streets. Toxic motherfucker who can’t stand that women can do shit better than they do and vomit so much bullshit. 🖕🏼😈
@Opinion Owner I understand how you feel. I think abortion should be done but only if she is raped. Other than. That no. They kill babies millions of babies every year and a grown adult can't get euthanasia. I think it's fair that abortion is ban too.
@monorprise It only seems that way. I don’t think we’re going the way of the behavioral sink. Don’t forget the other side of the equation, educated men. There’s a reason girls keep saying they don’t make men like they used to. WW2 saw to it that a huge number of educated men get churned out and did they get busy. Women feel comfortable, they start having these huge families. And there’s no shame in tending to a large family, those women are empowered in their own way, they got shit to do.
@love_conquers_lust I'm not going to sit here and tell you that men today particularly young men don't have huge problems. They are by all accounts under-educated, poor, physically weakened and apparently also poisoned judging by dropping testosterone rates which is apparently associated with exposure to environmental toxic.
There is indeed an enormous problem here that has been ignored for decades starting with environment, schools, and culture. The sum of which have laid wast to an entire generation of males.
Still Birth rates have been declining for a centuries in the industrialized world long before the current crisis with men which started around the 1990s.
The current crisis is also not unrecoverable, its just a new problem we created for ourselves that needs to be overcome. The real birth rate decide was noted as far back as 1776 specifically among the more industrialized and 'educated' sections of society. A pattern that increase the more of the countries population became industrialized in every such country.
@monorprise And that should happen. Lower testosterone has made us less trigger happy with lowered crime rates and less likely to go to world war. It’s not like our balls fell off completely. And women still want companionship no matter how feminine we get as far as I can tell. It’s not all doom and gloom like those dumb shit radical Islamic fucks claim. It’s about replacing a shitty house full of 10 screaming kids with a replacement rate that allows for the highest standard of living. We’re shifting our own carrying capacity by what we define as acceptable living standards. But we need a clean, sustainable way to do it. Oil and industrialization lit a fire under humanities’s ass and thrust us forward faster than any point in human history, it’s unreal, and we’re breaking that record every day. Most of us likely owe our existence to black gold and it gave us so much. But we need to find something better.
But we’re not going backwards. Putting the future of humanity squarely on the shoulders of women after centuries of sitting in the passenger seat is a bull shit amount of pressure. It’s our job to raise them up, not push them up while we sit down. There are some insidious feminist men out there who have the mentality: “teach a woman to fish, and she’ll bring you dinner for a lifetime.”
Lot of grandstand virtue signaling, but I think the principles are sound.
Trojan and other contraceptive producers are high fiving right now because they’re about to see a little boom picking up the market share that abortioners lose.
Men won’t be getting laid as often if they don’t do what the fuck women say and rubber the fuck up. If you think women are going back to the kitchen on command, boy it’s likely you that will be in the kitchen by yourself.
Pretty sure women aren’t the biggest fans of condoms either. If they wanted to fuck rubber, they’d buy a dildo that has better texturing. But it’s better than raw dawging to an unwanted pregnancy.
There are a lot of things you do and can't simply back away from, pregnancy and responsibility are just examples.
Women should always be mindful of who they give their body to. Personally, I'll commit to a woman if I'm gonna be releasing my seed in her garden. However, those that engage in casual sex tend to want to leave it at that. However, everyone doesn't see it that way. Some guys get off on getting a woman pregnant intentionally and plenty of women are having unprotected sex without any birth control.
Regardless of how it's applied to reproductive rights, women have to be mindful of who they have sex with, which they should've been but many of them weren't.

Probably the right call given the merits of the case. I'm personally pro-choice, but to say that there's somehow a constitutional right to abortion strikes me as pretty insane. The states have the right to determine all things not explicitly laid out in the constitution for the federal government, so this seems appropriate for the individual states to decide. Alternatively, Congress could pass a federal law granting abortion access. But it shouldn't have ever been determined by the courts from what I can tell.
The upside of this is that with Roe gone, there's much less constant pressure to vet judges based solely on their opinion on this case. So that seems like a plus.
It's bad because if they can overturn the rights of 50% of the population, smaller groups have no chance, i. e poor people (yes, that includes White people), middle class Americans, impose laws on entire demographics.
Imagine they take away health benefits from working class people, so they have to pay externally for it. It's possible now.
Ultimately, good; the tenth amendment is being enforced, and a check on federal overreach is placed. I find it kinda funny how so many of the people who call for a "national divorce" object so vehemently when they start to see what that would actually be like.
Bad, and I say that as someone who is more on the right, even far right on some topic. This is not something that should be negotiable, at least to a certain point. For example, I've seen some feminists asking for abortion post partum (after birth) which is literally killing a baby, and not a foetus.
One thing I don't understand, since I'm not American. The supreme court is an unelected institution right? And abortion is now a competence of the states, which leaders are elected, right? So that means people representatives are now deciding for it. Isn't that good? Since now the decision is in the hands of those chosen by the people. So it will be a decision that people of those states agree with.
The Supreme Court is appointed by the president and approved by the house and senate. The thing people worry now tho is that abortion will be banned entirely by the federal government
It's fucked up. "Pro-life" supporters don't care about human life or happiness. They just have a fetish for fetuses. But once a baby is born, they don't give a fuck about the baby or the mother. They are disdainful of women, women's rights and even human rights. They are the first ones to call women names and denigrate others. They lack empathy.
Pro-life is a dishonest term because it doesn't mean "pro-life" at all.
I can't really say I feel bad for the Selfish Women who want to end the life of their Unborn Baby. I mean you have adoption. Hospitals will even allow mothers to drop their babies off that they don't want at the Hospital Entrance on the side of the curb and a worker will take it inside no questions asked. From the way I interpret it, women no longer have a Federal Right which doesn't mean it's outlawed at the State Level unless the state of course decides it. The Unborn as well as people leaning towards the Right got a Major Victory today!
Due to my personal feelings about abortion I am okay with it, but I do feel that women should retain the right to abort without being restricted or now punished because of it.
@coachTanthony yeee haw!!! get er dun! Get em who illegally trespass on your property, look at your wife / kids the wrong way, cut you off as you drive! Thats that way bro!!!
I went through the police academy in 1992 then the FBI citizen academy in 94 ... I think shooting someone in the leg then tazing them would keep cops out of jail lol
@SlightlyEccentric And I'll just point out that you don't know what you're talking about, and she's correct. Historically, every time a restriction regarding abortion procedures became law, the maternal and infant death rates increased. The USA is already last among industrialized nations in that department, and we're about to get worse.
A re-post from above --- "According to the Guttmacher Institute, which is one of the most reliable, evidence-based research institutes, a whopping 49% of abortions are chosen by women AT or BELOW the POVERTY LEVEL !! And, the next 26% are chosen by women at or double the poverty level."
This is just part of what happens when you don't educate people, especially the poor. Lyndsielee is correct - the vast majority of these pro-lifers and nothing more than "pro-birthers" who think they're doing God's will. None of them give a shit about the lives they would be born into. NOR, would they choose to be born into those lives themselves!
Abortion is not in the constitution, therefore it is a matter that is to be handed to the states for decisions. End of discussion. Supreme Court made the right decision.
@loveslongnails America is explicitly NOT a democracy, the founders were very clear on that particular question. They looked at the history of democracy and felt democracy was a terrible system of government which murders itself and oppresses its people.
Instead the founders created 13 Constitutional Republics, and then later got them to unite together in a Federal Constitutional Republic in 1787.
We were quite intentionally never a democracy, and for very well thought out and explained reasons.
As it happens the federal constitution must contain a clause for any particular power to be vested in the Federal Constitution. Not only was this inherit in the original design many of the ratifiers were soo worried about people construing otherwise they passed the 10th amendment.
What Washington politicians claims power over today 233 years later isn't even close to what was permitted but rather the result of generations of federal politicians doing what politician thou out history have always done: Expand their own power and control in every way they can.
In this respect the Federal Constitution has failed to restrain them with a system of checks and balances able to enforce itself. There are many reasons for this failure in our history, which will have to be examined.
But few of the people who wrote the Federal Constitution thought it would last the hammering of 233 years of power hungry politicians either. Hence why Thomas Jefferson pointed out a revolution (which means cycle literally) is necessary from time to time to refresh the tree of liberty.
@lofii Not all abortions are paid for by tax dollars. But since you brought it up, do you have any clue what your tax dollars pay for AFTER the woman who wanted an abortion at 7 weeks is denied in Texas?
@loveslongnails The fact that something isn't written in the Federal Constitution means it can't be decided under that government. We are not a democracy.
@monorprise Again you show your ignorance. Think of the Constitution as "The Rules of Golf". Very basic outline. But it's the "Decisions on the Rules" that govern the game. Same is true about the Constitution. "Just because" a specific thing was not originally designated to be controlled by the Federal government doesn't mean it can't be, or won't be, and it doesn't need a Constitutional Amendment to make it happen.
@loveslongnails A Constitution like any law is not a "rule of Golf" its the limited terms of our consent to be governed. There would be no point to it at all if that could be changed because some of the rulers decided they would like more power over us. Furthermore there is no point to an amendment process you don't need. So why add one to a constitution that is basically a blank check for politicians?
Even if you can't be troubled to read the documents in question or history. Just simple reasoning should tell you what your suggesting is absurd.
Next step 1: hunt down scientists and burn them alive at the stake, along with any books that defy the BS book of an imaginary sky daddy. Next step 2: outlaw trans rights and turn every single transgender person into a criminal for having changed their birth gender.
With this decision of the Supreme Court, now the "S" in "USA" has a new meaning: United Sheep of America.
The pro-lifers never see the full picture and just think it is just for "getting rid of their responsibility" when it actually saves the lives of so many women because of complications in the uterus. Pro-lifers are honestly simple minded idiots that dont actually research and just sit in an echo chamber beliving that is all they need to know. Also it is incredibly hard wor women to get sterilization because they don't ever want to have kids.
Except that the vast majority of abortions are done for reasons that aren't to benefit anyone's health and safety. Why are you self projecting the fact that you're in an echo chamber?
I'm not projecting and how am i in the echo chamber when im getting to the detailed part of abortion, instead of just talking about abortion for just not wanting a baby but ignoring any other information about abortion clinics and what else they do. Have you ever asked a pro lifer "what all do abortion clinics do?", i have a all of them usually only mention the 1 thing. I'm just used to every single pro lifer i encounter only ever mentioning abortion for not wanting to have a baby, but never bring up the important details that are actually important about abortion clinics.
looking at the gender weighted responses, i can see we're heading into civil war between people who believe in Globalist state bestowed group collectivism (Socialism) and sovereign individualism. it's like where mob rule "democracy" differs from constitutional rights of the individual.

since they passed the open carry law.. those who get killed in a gunfight will be replaced by a birth, so it evens out
I am locked and loaded!
@coachTanthony yeee haw!!! get er dun! Get em who illegally trespass on your property, look at your wife / kids the wrong way, cut you off as you drive! Thats that way bro!!!
Just don't look at me directly in the eyes and you will be fine Ha Ha Ha
@coachTanthony bullet between your mf eyes... feared for my life.. .. so I shot your ass dead.. do it until threat is neutralized
I went through the police academy in 1992 then the FBI citizen academy in 94 ... I think shooting someone in the leg then tazing them would keep cops out of jail lol
@coachTanthony you feared for your life!! it was justified
That's what they all say until the video comes out.
but.. but.. but.. you feared for your life...
The video shows the guy had a knife and you shot him 6 times because the academy said so. Makes sense lol
@coachTanthony you got 12 in the clip. plus 1 in the chamber... you feared for your life...
LOL okay good chat
@coachTanthony No I won't back down... I will stand my ground!
Yeah Yeah I got it.
They’re not pro life they pro birth. Shit is sad and so many women are gonna die.
You sound delusional af
@SlightlyEccentric are you mad 🥲
Correction, Conservatives are pro suffering. Especially if those suffering aren't straight-white-christian males.
Nope, I'm just fine. Just pointing out that you sound delusional.
@SlightlyEccentric she is. She's from California. It's not surprising
Why is it that you trust your state legislator to strike an equitable balance on every other issue of murder and medical procedures but not abortion?
Honestly if you really have so little faith in them, having been born abortion should not even registers on the list of reasons for moving.
@SlightlyEccentric And I'll just point out that you don't know what you're talking about, and she's correct. Historically, every time a restriction regarding abortion procedures became law, the maternal and infant death rates increased. @lofii rather be from California than a state that took my rights away but go off 💃🏻
@SlightlyEccentric What a ridiculously dumb, Fox News response "________ isn't in the Constitution" is !! And you don't even know it!
Do you even realize how many things are NOT mentioned in the Constitution? LOL Why the fuck would abortion be part of the Constitution?
The word "democracy" does not appear in the Constitution either. Maybe because the USA is not really a democracy, is it? But most people think it is.
The discussion is far from the end, or over, except in your small mind.
It's not your right to have an abortion.
It's a privilege paid for by tax dollars.
Educate yourself
@monorprise Ok, interesting rant but of what relevance?
@loveslongnails
A Constitution like any law is not a "rule of Golf" its the limited terms of our consent to be governed.
@loveslongnails get a job. Poor people are leeches of society
@lofii What a brilliant answer. LOL Hey, why don't you START a business and HIRE some poor, rather uneducated people and let us know how that goes?
Welcome to the Dark Ages, America!
Claims that pro lifers are simple minded idiots that didn't do research, then makes simple minded assumptions without any credible sources.
