Good, but in terms of really wiping the stain of this generation's guilt, we got a long way to go.

It's a non-decision. All this does is turn responsibility back to the states.

What was the purpose of the federal government?

Only the federal government can regulate interstate and foreign commerce, declare war and set taxing, spending and other national policies. These actions often start with legislation from Congress, made up of the 435-member House of Representatives and the 100-member U. S. Senate.

Is there a reason you trust your State legislator to define murder, and the legality of every other medical procedure but not abortion?

If you don't trust your state government to make tolerable laws on theses issues why are you still living there?

You must live in perpetual terror, that the state legislator will legalize letting anyone injure or kill you in a 10+ different ways.

I left my former state mostly because I didn't trust the legislator to make laws on comparatively minor tax and regulatory issues, effecting the availability of jobs and any property I might own there, as demonstrated by a history of creating economic stagnation and decline.

I was not very concerned with their judgement on murder although i did feel increasingly unsafe with their more minor unwillingness to enforce laws leading to an ever higher crime rate.

everything has both its benefits and harms and it's the same with abortion, while in some situations it's necessary for some others, it is not.

I was siding with the facts not siding with any one person. I have been stating the very same facts before her comment, so logic should tell you that I she had nothing to do with my factual statements.
Once again your lack of logic amuses me. Take a deep breath and think before you comment, it is obvious that you have not being doing this.

@allaboutyou2 you saying every other sentence that my lack of logic amuses you is getting old. That's like you're only defense. Her logic is that if you don't want to get pregnant, then don't get pregnant. Which is the stupidest s*** I've ever heard. Because that's literally suggesting that rape victim should just not get raped.

@Table4YTwo CDC website 2020 3.6 million pregnancies…the previous comments argument was that 1% of that or.5% is not significant, but my argument was that they were using the number one as the argument whereas the actual number of women affected was much more significant than they had made it appear. Also, why simply protect unborn babies? Why not really tackle the problem of state foster care? Immigration detention of children? Child care in general? Maternity leave from work? Health care for pregnant women? I mean it was simple logic to point out flaws in the comment.

@Jay3344 you can't tackle state foster care ever because you can't unfuck a mentally fucked up individuals mind. Do Not Talk to me about it I am one of those who went through Foster.

People adopt children rape them abuse them and send them back, people adopt children then take them to other countries to sell into slavery

People adopt children and use them as punching bags

      People adopt children to kill

the list goes on and it will always go on because we are the undesirables even the most talented, beautiful and best minded and good hearted orphans society turns a blind eye too.

You are a asshole and you say you don't want to debate and then try and debate. Since life begins at conception. Even if you don't think it does that does not mean women should be able to kill her child in the third trimester.

Most people BOTH women and men won't make responsible choices. Many men run away... Many women abort... They are both PIECES OF SHIT.

Which is why you should wait until you're married to have sex and then if you don't want children use protection

Then you have the crazies that tell you to suck her imaginary dick (hell it is 2022 but that is not the issue) and that she is going to blow a load in pro lifers faces sexually harasssing them

@Whatever2929292 I don't want it as convenience sweetie. I use the pill and condoms. But eventually I do wanna have sex with my boyfriend without a condom and the fear of a pregnancy I don't want. If I have a kid they're almost certain to have an incurable disease like me. I don't want. Hence why if I ever unfortunately got pregnant due to my form of contraceptive failing yes I'd want the option of abortion because one I don't want kids and 2 I don't wanna bring a child into the work with a bad disease

What happenes if someone gets pregnant bc a condom broke and there on birth control? But can’t afford the baby. But still took all the precautions. And they’re already married. Can’t say that’s irresponsible and don’t say it doesn’t happen. My daughters fathers parents had two kids that way. What should happen then. Put another kid in the foster system so they can get abused and raped and neglected. Or keep it and have such debt that the kid starves.

I see we are still on this marriage thing... Then great I am so happy for you! But again the point was about the condom. If you love him so much... then why don't you just marry him? Then it won't be sin in the eyes of God.

Even if you just get married in front of God and don't get a legal piece of paper. You both have made a lifelong commitment. But I am going to assume you aren't a Christian either maybe you are.

My main point was about you wanting to not use a condom. That is YOUR CHOICE!!! That is the risk you're willing to take

@Whatever2929292 because maybe we don't view marriage as a wedding and certificate? Maybe we consider the fact we've been n love for 10 years and have been together that long as our form of marriage. I don't give a fuck what a made up God people believe in thinks. I care what I do. It's not a sin to be with a man you love and not be married. So screw your lame God argument.

I was in foster care for 6 years before being adopted into a shit family that I was mentally abused for years. Don’t tell me adoption is an option. If you’ve never went through the system or been adopted keep your fucking mouth shut about that topic. My parents also spent 40,000 to adopt me. Not everyone has that money. We can have sex and shit still happens even trying to avoid it.

What was the purpose of the federal government?

Only the federal government can regulate interstate and foreign commerce, declare war and set taxing, spending and other national policies. These actions often start with legislation from Congress, made up of the 435-member House of Representatives and the 100-member U. S. Senate.
