This question inspired by Curmy. Liberals love and adore illegal labor. But to what end?

Liberals will tell you that illegal labor keeps the strawberry prices down. It does. Absolutely.
What about roofing, carpentry, construction, cement finishing, plumbing, dry wall, land scaping, electrical work, car mechanics? Where do you draw the line?

My cousin's wife is a Spanish teacher, and she's as liberal as the day is long. I asked her if she would be OK if an illegal alien came in in and took her job. He or she could do it for half the price. Wouldn't that be wonderful?

Too many Americans naively believe in "hard work" and "earning your money" which is corporate propaganda to make it easier to exploit and enslave their workers.

Americans will also act incredibly hostile towards any ideas of equality and a living wage and Socialist ideas saying things like "why should i have to pay x thing for x person" or "if i work x hours of overtime i will get payed the same as a person who doesn't?" Or "they are just teenagers and not human beings they don't deserve a living wage for working such a simple entry level job".

What they fail to realize is by dehumanizing and devaluing other people and workers they also dehumanize and devalue themselves. By allowing illegal immigrants to work twice as hard 80 hours a week and be paid so little with no worker rights and no health care they automatically devalue their work and themselves.

By arguing survival of the fittest and smartest and the one who is willing to put in the most hours into their work is who succeeds then they easily are beat by immigrant workers or anyone who is insane enough to work 80 hours a week with no weekends for the least pay possible.

The only ones who benefit from such brainwashed zealous corporate work ethic are the corporation themselves and the capitalist who actually own the means of production and capital. They would love nothing more than a slave work force who fight amongst themselves and not unionize.

Nobody ever thinks about this until it happens to them. I can remember when being a roofer or a framing carpenter was a pretty well paid job. Now the crews are all illegal aliens. I had new windows put on my house 11 years ago. Nobody on the crew could speak a word of English except for the foreman. The next time I saw the sales guy I told him this was not what we discussed and I did not like being lied to. He really had no answer for me.

Illegals do a shitty job doing roofing. We just had a situation in my apartment building. The roofers (not one spoke any English), hit the roof so hard that it broke the water pipes throughout the building. My bathroom and bedroom ceilings got flooded in my apartment and they fell down. Everything got wet. I had to temporarily move to another apartment for three weeks. On top of that, they took a leaf blower and blew all the dirty crap from the roof onto my balcony 🤬 and went home! What a fricken mess! I guess you get what you pay for is true!
Don't hire illegals if you want a good job done correctly. I was so pissed at those idiots. Grrrr!
