What would happen if all non-heterosexual people were moved to California, and not allowed to leave the state?

It would be a melting pot of all the LGBTQIA+ people to live how they wanted, without having to worry about state laws changing... as they would have their own state to control the politics. It would also make legal matters, and life in general, so much easier in the other 49 states.

1. It is not impossible because there are way less non-heterosexuals than there were Japanese during WWII when they were put in internment camps.
2. You think there are enough non-heterosexuals to make a dent in the US population! That's funny!!! Stats show 5%-7% of the US is homosexual. Double that, and even go up to 20% moving to California... the other 80% will now have less crowded schools, less traffic on the roads, and more job opportunities due to less competition in the remaining 49 states.

It is a win/win for both sides, bc the non-hetero people can now live without fear or judgement... as they desire.

1: There is at least like 18 million homosexuals alone in USA right now which is way more than the 120 000 Japanese held in internment camps.

2: You are forgetting that every year you will lose another 5-7% of every new generation to California and that is again, only homosexuals and not accounting for the rest. Pretty sure that kicks the replacement rate under 2 children per woman and starts a population decline across the entire USA except for California.

And if you magically achieve this then California will fairly quickly BECOME "USA" as it will utterly dwarf any other state in importance and economic activity. It will be the center of all attention and the rest will be seen more or less like a territory like Hawaii because quite frankly they dont really matter anymore without the people living in it.

The 5-7% of gays being removed from the 49 states would only happen once. Those 18 million would still leave over 300 million in the remaining states. And those remaining citizens could ACTUALLY REPRODUCE unlike the non-heterosexuals. So their populations would be growing, as the Cali population dies off.

As for gay people being shipped to California, you do realize that just because you shipped out the current batch of homosexual (and others) does not mean new ones won't be born right? As I said before, its a constant. As in its a remarkably enduring percentage irrespective of things such as persecution and any other social change. It simply IS and will continue to be.

So every year, you will have to ship off 5-7% of your children to California and have your population decline year by year while California is constantly being filled up and having their population expand. It is also naive of you to think that just because someone is gay does not mean they dont want to be a parent.

It is an opportunity for non-heterosexuals to start building their own culture/society away from the constant critique of heterosexuals.
