Where do you hope you’ll be at age 39?

I am now 39 years old today. Just one more year until im 40 whoaaa.

anyways im fairly content with where i am in life currently. I got much more to do of course. But where do you hope to be at 39?

and if you’re older than me where were you at age 39?

Wait wait wait... So this is the change! I was currently looking at your profile and was thinking why do I feel something changed over here. It's the age. Happy Birthday!!!

For me, I want to be successful by 39. Known as dark themed, horror and humorous writer and a well known celebrity. I would love to be known as the young Ruskin Bond and O Henry in terms of story writing. And in terms of poetry and written pieces, I will make my own place. I want to be a part of Writing and Music history. I want to be a legend by that time so that my influence doesn't fly away after my death.

If not that then a therapist who helps teenagers in need. I would go for psychology if not music and when I am successful enough then I will conduct a collaboration with various schools where I would be giving teenagers free therapy because I don't want anyone else to suffer like me. I understand that not all parents are open for therapy so freely sessions may help my young clients. If I couldn't become what I wanted to, I would help others in their journey.

I hope to be in a better place. Living in my country or in a place where I feel safe and happy. With a steady job, my own house and a good group of friends. And or course healthy both mentally and physically.

Happy birthday!! :D That's an interresting question!

Byt the time I'm 39 I'd like to be married (working on it) and have children (ideally 3 if we can afford it and my body can handle).

I also wish for mine and his parents to still be alive and enjoying their grandchildren.

I'd like to have a job that supports my lifestyle of travelling (so remote like my fiance's) and is not unethical (so leaving behind the pharmaceutical industry), yet still pays decently enough.

I'd like to get closer to Christ and grow more in my faith.

I wish for people of the world to start fighting back for their freedom and not let the world crumble like it is now :(

I'd like to achieve some level of self sufficiency when it comes to food and water, we're working on it right now.

And to still be healthy and full of energy!

I'm 38 (turned 38 in March).

Eh I regret certain things regarding my life but I am still alive and not on a breathing tube or anything (missing limbs, paralyzed, etc.) so... I guess I can count those things as blessings!

Financially, I want to still be able to get the things I want (usually) in life.

I would like to save up for vacations that I can afford, with my parents, etc. Life happily you know? =)

In terms of love, I have a fiance currently but there's things he still needs to do before we tied the knot. I just want to be happy and have a good life partner, if ever.

Obviously in terms of health, I hope I make it another 10,20, 30, or 40 years without too much "baggage" in terms of physical injuries/disabilities, chronic medical ailments (that aren't a part of getting older).

I hope to continue to be proud of what I have accomplished education/school wise.

There's probably more but that's what I got so far.

As for where I’ll be at 39… Hopefully I will be running my own clinic for survivors of rape and incest. It would be great if it was the very best care available, for a much or as little as the person or their family can afford. It’s going to be very interesting looking back on this and seeing whether I was right or not?

Happy birthday! I'm going to forget my goal of paying off my student loans by a certain age. I accept it may take me more time than that. By 39 I'm hoping I'll be married and that I'll actually know what I want to do with my life.
