Disclaimer: I live in a country where AOC is 16.

I personally don't see any issue of a 16y wants to date an 80y. In my opinion they are old enough to make that decision for themselves.

I personally don't date below 18. Because going to restraunts that serve alcohol is awkward then. But beyond that, I really don't care. As long as she's pretty, and fun.

I also don't buy the maturity myth. I've met plenty of mature 16ys and immature 40ys. Age only co-relates loosely with maturity

I personally believe 15/16 is the correct age of consent however. That is when most people reach sexual maturity. And are old and experienced enough to decide for themselves what they want.

I don’t agree mostly because maturity levels are so different and people are not inherently nice or good. There woukd be great harm done.
