Guys, what are some of the tests you put girls through?

I am not talking about girls that you barely know or just met. I am talking about a girl that you really do have feelings for.

What tests do you give them? I know some of my guy friends will test to see if their girl will cheat on them or get with their best friend before getting serious with her.

Or I know some guys will test to see if their girl will be honest about a question that they already know the answer to just to see if she will be truthful when confronted directly.

What other tests do guys put their girls through? What tests do you make sure your girl can pass before you bring them home to meet your parents, move in with them, or ask them to marry you?

Don't really do these "tests." The only one is "do I like her." The problem with tests is that success or failure are often not indicative of the actual person's personality. For instance, just because she won't cheat on you with your best friend doesn't really mean she won't cheat on you.

Only test I might do is the gold-digger test, or in my case, silver-digger test (I have a good chunk of money, but I'm not really rich). And frankly, it usually isn't necessary - I only do it when I have reason to suspect she might be something of a gold digger (such as her asking me on the first date how much money I make/have).

I vaguely mention things about me / my life / my beliefs that are important and see if she asks questions / tries to learn more. a self-involved girl will generally just acknowledge what you say and leave it at that

I act distant and see if she chases after me

I put pressure on her to sleep with me. If she does, then she's a good f*** buddy / lay. if she doesn't, then she is Girlfriend material. If she doesn't after 5 months, I'm done.

I take note of how often she goes out of her way to do little surprising cute romantic things for me

The game is to be sold, not told, so some of guys will play dumb and won't answer you truthfully.

I've been tested by guys. Some of the things they'll do is talk sex and try to hook up with you early on. It's half test and half serious. They will be happy to get it from you if you're down for it, but they do it to see if you're a "good girl" or if you're easy to f***.

Another thing is what you've already mentioned. They may set you up with a guy (may be a friend or someone you wouldn't expect) to see if you'll cheat or not.

I see that more of a women's type of dealing with stuff. As far as I know, none of the guys I know are like that. At least not for serious things. The example of the honesty test could be applied sometimes, but mostly we "test" through dating, talking and getting to know her.
