I think the mom underrated. I can't imagine yelling, much less recording, at my parents without consequence like the daughter was basically doing here. Additionally, the daughter carely doesn't regret her actions (she's yelling but not screaming her lungs out, nor is she apologizing or anything) but the daughter clearly doesn't care about her mother. She's 19 and a slut already. I feel sorry for the mom, she spent 20 years caring for her daughter for things to end up like this (assuming she was a regular mom and not worse). 😕

Asian parents are strict. What daughter did was not really good but then no one else raised her up rather than her parents. They didn't raised her well. Mommie dearest, damn! A good parent should support their children, regardless of their decisions. Learning is all about making your own choices. That mother is far from a good parent. The job market is horrible, and maybe that was the easiest way to make money.

I am going to take the side of the daughter. All those people ranting about "her house her rules" should think about where their priorities lie. According to a UN study half of all Chinese men admit to partner abuse. They get away with it because arresting these men would stain the Chinese nation, family, and communist party.
