Republican party primed for replacement?

As many of you may know, the Republican party replaced the Whigs, which came to prominence during the election of Lincoln. Since this time it had much success, with notable Presidents Teddy Roosevelt, Eisenhower, Reagan, and to a lesser degree the Bushes.

Gradually the party came to represent conservatism, traditional values (gender roles, patriotism, morality), strong military posture, etc. Although, the degree to which the Republican party has fluctuated between an active foreign policy, and isolationism has been incoherent, as has their willingness to get involved in domestic affairs.

Currently, the Republican party has a garbage reputation. The narrative is that they're against "women's rights," they're racists, and it seems like even to its supporters, the Republican party simply promotes what the Democrats supported last election cycle. They don't want to fight critical race theory, gender theory, gay indoctrination/ pride, or otherwise support anything that is traditionally conservative. The outcome of this is that people don't find anything to be excited about.

Nobody's heart was set ablaze by Mitt Romney. At the same time Trump, who people were excited about, was ostracized by the mainstream Republican party, who kept him at a distance at best. Recently congressional Republican leadership came out with a bill that would ban abortion nationally (after 15 weeks)... right before an election that they were primed to win. To me, it's clear to see that the Republican party does not even care about winning an election, fielding a leader conservatives can actually get behind, or supporting anything that isn't just a light version of what the Democrats support.

So, is it time to begin a new party, and if so, what would this party look like?
