Amongst the worst and cruelest people you've met, personally, which gender has been worse to you?

My entire life, it was always women who were worse to me than men. It was women who told me I was too short to have any value as a man, was undateable, was worthless and should die, etc. However, among other people, it is men who tend to more violent and physically abusive. So which gender has personally been worse to you, in your life?

Hmm that personally done the worst to me, i have stories about the men and women who did some truly rough shit to me. The cruelest in my experience were women because of how crafty they were in their actions.

I’ve had women use me to their advantage then tossed me aside like a piece of garbage right after. I learned partly is my fault because of my naive nature at the time made me a prime target for fucked up people who knew a direct approach would be too obvious for me. Fellow men have fucked me over in the past but not to the same Diabolical methods as women.

Now I can sniff out the manipulative and sinister people in the world and I have no problem toying with them but the few broken people didn’t break me or corrupted my perception of women as whole. I took some hits but I’m still standing

I just went to a bakery/deli. Two people in front of me lady at next register says she’ll take next person. Guy in front of me doesn’t respond. I say “hey bud you can goto that one.”

Guy doesn’t move but slowly looks over his shoulder and doesn’t respond. I say “ok bud you don’t wanna I will.” Walk passed.

He mutters, “I’m not your buddy.”

I put my items on counter and say “Ok how about I call you dick? You like dick?”

Workers start laughing he just glares at me checks out leaves.

Men can be downright disrespectful and will mistake a smile for an invitation for a romantic advance.

But women can be downright cruel. All the gossip and drama. I was made to feel ashamed and embarrassed about my breast size and height because of other girls. Only people who really make rude remarks about mine and my boyfriend's height difference are other girls; like, his friends pick on him a little bit, but nothing too mean, whereas I'll constantly hear other girls mumble (thinking they're out of my earshot) about it and how our kids might look. Etc

I just put men because the bullying I went through was with them I actually got punched in the eye when I was 11 years old and the school didn’t want to do anything about it. But women are really fake too at work (I understand a bit of french) I heard these ladies talking about how I’m fat and other ladies saying other things. Both genders suck because the world just sucks in general.

I’ve met cruel men and women but I’d personally have to say men have been the worst, considering I’ve had to deal with actual sexual assault/harassment/rape.

Also, boys at school have a weird thing about trying to impress each other but not in impressive ways…like, my younger sister had a friend who was black and ALL the boys were so racist to her (calling her the N word, making up songs about her that were horrible, driving past her grandparents house shouting things, ruining her life at school) and they did it for a laugh and to try to seem ‘hard’. Horrible.

I’ve met men who think that if you’re married you can’t rape the other person, and explained how the men can have sex with the woman whenever they want even if the woman doesn’t want it because women should obey men and carried on with a lot of other cruel things based on religion I believe. This guy also called a little girl who was about 11 minding her own business on the bus a terrorist.

I know a man in my family (who we don’t have contact with) who beat his wife, gambled away his child’s toys and manipulated her by saying it was given to needy kids so she couldn’t be upset, did all sorts of dodgy stuff.

Generally I have also witnessed so many men manipulating people so they can sleep with them or get what they want, or pretending to be lovely and then end up being abusive. Men who don’t want their partner to succeed because of their own ego - like my friend who had a boyfriend that was mad she went to university and was getting a degree in finance and accountancy. A friend who was raped by her boyfriend. Most men I’ve seen in relationships have at least tried to cheat, the messages I get from men in relationships trying to cheat (which I block, and usually their partner is absolutely AMAZING).

These are some of the reasons I voted men. But of course, there are some wonderful men. My dad is a great role model, my boyfriend is amazing. I know great men that I’ve met through all walks of life.

Women can be horribly cruel also. They can be really bitchy, sneaky, manipulative especially teenage girls at school with other girls. However I have not personally witnessed cruelty to the same extent of that I have seen by men

Women probably. Most of the time when I've had to deal with an annoying guy, he would just insult me (likely deserved) and act all normal a few seconds after. Women, on the other hand, find ways to subtly bother you and ruin your day/week/month/etc all because you looked at her funny for 2 seconds last Monday. At least most people are good, some are just 🍑holes.

For me! Men, by faaaaar. 90% of all women i ever met were nice, polite and very respectful. I went to an all girls high school. My number one reason for choosing said high school? Because the boys I went to middle school were the absolute worst. I never really got bullied by other girls. But the fucking dickhead boys? Yeah. They were cruel. I've also dealt with some of the most manipulative and narcissistic men in my adult life. So yeah, ima go with men.

I would say I have known equal numbers of cruel men and women, but the bad things men tend to do are of a different nature. They tend to be more physically cruel whereas women's cruelty tends to be more psychological and emotional in nature.

When you look at all of the most horrible atrocities, AND the most amazing and impactful achievements of human kind, men are almost always responsible for both.
