I am thrilled. Italy will be in a much better place. The media keeps trying to paint her in a negative way by constantly calling her "Far right" and claiming that she represents and supports fascism. She moved on from that and is no longer affiliated with that ideology. She is living in the 21st century. A great conservative leader.

She seems to be pretty level headed. The communists will hate her because she likes and stands up for the people, she believes in state sovereignty not a single world dictatorship, she believes in freedom not slavery, etc. She's not some WEF trained satanic global tranny pronoun wielding pedophile communist so the commies will cry bloody murder.

I'll answer you as an Italian. I did not vote for the Brothers of Italy. In Italy everything always changes in order not to change anything.

I am a single issue voter about economic approach. Right-wing parties have 1970s communist party economic ideas. The concern I have is that they cannot manage the economic system.
Right-wing parties do not have a ruling class capable of properly administering the country. A country sick with crony capitalism.

The right-wing parties in Italy are profoundly statist and anti-market, anti-competition and anti-meritocracy. Italy has an enormous problem with low productivity. The economic recipe of Brothers of Italy is to further reduce this productivity.

Never heard of her or this until now. Only European politics I remember is France electing that loser Macron instead of "female Trump," Marine Le Pen. And I often get France and Italy mixed up, so thought Macron was on his way out. If she's right-leaning, or at least just not woke, then I say good for Italy! But mainly, I voted C.

Her test is whether she picks a fight with Ursula van der Leyen at EU headquarters and, as a result, invites the people of Italy to vote on whether they wish to exit the European Union.
