Biden (fuckup) took credit for oil prices decreasing slightly so should he take the blame for them rising again?

Remember oil prices shot up the day he was sworn in because oil is traded on futures and he made a campaign promise to stop all domestic oil production and make us reliant on countries that hate us. He blamed Putin for the price increase even though there was no war at the time. He then started releasing oil from our strategic reserve, which is supposed to be for emergencies, to try to increase supply to lower prices rather than resume domestic production. Prices did dip but mostly because Americans started driving less because they couldn’t afford it. Now prices are going back up because OPEC+ is reducing production by 2 million barrels a day so is fuckup going to take the blame? Remember under Trump we were 100% energy independent but fuckup reversed that

There is no oil/gas shortage, there never. That's an excuse for oil companies to add to their record profits.

US economic policy is to use foreign energy and mineral resources while keeping our own in reserve.

The war in Ukraine is about regional control of Ukraine, the black sea, Georgia, the caspian sea and the oil/gas rich cental asia. Taking it from Russia for the US.

What happened to the Nord Stream pipeline? The US government sabotaged it. Europe buying oil/gas from an non US approved country is not OK because the US doesn't get a slice of the pie.

Biden like Trump before him is not in control of any of this. It has been planned out decades before. Putin is a very clever ruthless and strong leader but he is just one man and a lot of very clever people of genius level intellect from every possible field have been planning the whole Ukraine thing out for 20 years, Putin has walked into a trap and he can't get out.

Yes it was stupid for Biden taking credit for gas prices for any reason. It is just as stupid as don claiming gas prices.

The reality is we live in a free market economy with private businesses doing business. We don't live in Venezuela that nationalized oil. If we did the same thing, USA wouldn't have over thrown the country for oil companies.
