oh, for sure. The evil that our governments perpetrated on us damaged society. And it's easy to get discouraged.

But look on the bright side: You now know unequivocally that our government is run by lying sociopaths who would gladly shoot you in the head if they got a kickback for it. You now know which of your friends and family would have gladly turned over the Jews in Nazi Germany. You now know that the people 'in charge' are utter buffoons and can be disregarded outright. You now know that exercise, fresh air, good diet are critical to your emotional and physical well-being. It was enlightening.
