I only partially agree about the aggressor's cannon fodder.

However for the defending side it can be a matter of survival.
The defender can either take weapon and defend their country or let the aggressor transport their loved ones into work/death camps, let the aggressor rape their mothers, sisters, and daughters, let the aggressor burn their home and steal all their possessions.

Facing these two options, many will decide to fight till their last breath knowing that if it weren't for them fighting the aggressor, their loved ones would be raped or killed.

Let me enlighten you to a vital piece of information. According to the department of defense, the United States military is 10,000 recruits short of their goal this year, that figure expected to rise to 21,000 less by next year. That's the biggest hurdle in about 50 years. If anything, not enough young men are applying nowadays.

As far as war is concerned, that's not something that is up to you. If an official declaration of war is made any man of fighting age who is fit for service will be DRAFTED. That does not leave you a choice but to comply. Do you think people just wanna go to a random desert in bump fuck nowhere and camp there waiting for their enemy to show up and attack them? No. They do it because they have to.

Be at least thankful to the young men who served and died in WW2 so you could grow up with your rights and freedoms you ignorant fuck.

That's the way it's always been in history. Older men (kings, generals, etc) start wars, typically over power and/or resources) and have young men do the fighting. In hindsight, almost every war accomplished nothing.
