Personally for me, I think that murderers forfeited their right to live the moment they took someone else’s. While I agree that the death penalty cannot be reversed (in cases where people are wrongfully accused), I think that PROVEN murderers MUST and SHOULD be executed. Why should murderers live in relative comfort in prison after taking another persons life in cold blood? In cases where the death penalty is not imposed, I strongly think that they should be forced to partake in penal labour and not live the rest of their lives at the expense of taxpayers.
