It's part of German's current politics. I'm not sure if that's true because I've read it differently in other sources but the main idea remains that the government has a page where puberty blockers are advertised in a positive way.

It's part of a current politics trend that the mainstream and the last election went to left wing. It's just one idiotic idea of many.
