So before the election we were repeatedly told that if the democrats didn't win big the world would end / democracy would die / we would become nazi Germany

It looks pretty red to me... the last states are still counting democrat votes to become blue but...

The US survived however as a nation we are in deep trouble long-term. Our nation is very much Balkanized at this point. Red states or red counties versus blue states and blue counties. It’s very upsetting when only a few very small areas along the coastal regions mostly are determining who wins what whereas 90% of the landmass is rural and voting red because they want to be left the hell alone and not be taken down or micromanaged with communist style regulations. If we do not get a handle on our own oil exploration and inflation, then what we are facing right now will look like a walk in the park in comparison. What is happening right now is all due to the Biden administration enacting tyrannical regulations and playing into a globalist ESG sitting. It’s treason!

i don't understand the comparison to nazi germany. in nazi germany, you couldn't vote, cause hitler created "emergency laws" that basically disabled democracy. any sort of election result can't possibly be compared to "nazi germany". i guess people are just quick to call everything they dislike "nazi". it's the same here in germany. everyone who disagrees with current government is called a nazi. the problem with that is, that if you call everything a nazi, that makes the word meaningless.

The Nazi's may have lost control of the house, so it is a step towards Democracy now. Rather than all the anti freedom Democratic policies.

Germany isn't Nazi Germany anymore. Sure here are still some uneducated people who are Nazis but that's thankfully the minority.

I could go on for years and years. Censorship. Book burning. The COVID-19 lockdowns, mask mandates, vaccine mandates. ETC. Trying to label certain groups of people as terrorists and other horrible names.

Preventing certain groups from voting - something that is the policy of the Republican party - and redrawing voting boundaries - also republican policies - are more in line with the Nazi policies than the Democrats are.

The Democrats are not necessarily on the side of the angels either. Frankly both parties are like choosing to be shot or stabbed 200 miles from medical help.

Interesting that Trump sponsored candidates got royally fucked though...
