Did democracy die?

So as we heard (24/7) before the election, democracy was at stake. If the democrats didn't win democracy would die (and other more exiting variations incl the very end of the world or nation Germany)

Now dems have the senate but the people who love the United States control the house.

This leaves me confused, because now what? Is democracy half dead? Are we 50% Germany?

They’re saying “democracy is at stake” etc.




What they mean by “democracy” is their power and control. Before the midterms they controlled all three legislative branches. Now they only control two…. Which who knows, it might even drop down to one.






Lastly, this started cause of Trump. Why? Because trump said it like it is and didn’t sugar coat. And just like most people in society now, people are so soft and sensitive that is someone says something harsh, even if it’s the truth they lash out at the person who said it instead of admitting they’re wrong. Also cause he’s a Republican, I can guarantee you that if Trump was in the democratic party it would be the opposite side that hate him constantly. He was an outsider too, the politicians who are hating on him, are doing so out of spite and envy because they all dream of becoming the president some day. And this guy with no government experience came in and took it.

In the wake of the election results the former president did proclaim suspending the constitution. We are effectively dodging bullets here and buying time will weaken any fashist dictatorship. I am happy about that.

Fascist need to look dominating with power but also can't be openly nazi and racist like YE is doing. The longer things drag out the Fascist will also deal with infighting like the rino hunting.

It was already dead, Musk proved that.. and that's just one social media company. The democrats killed democracy by controlling speech and as well thought via media and education systems.

they never explained what the heck they were talking about, they just come up with with a theme to create fear in their base, to create control. their base is managed by fear because they are generally sensitive and unstable people that require the safety of the group.

It's more like... we've been taken over by "invasion of the body snatchers".

Well... did you see the little docu-series on PBS called "the brain"? There's like 4 or 5 episodes and in one of them he literally shows the brain scan thingy (electrode machine whatevr...) and he can tell who's a liberal and who's a normal person by the way they react to certain images (like dragqueens dancing for little kids)

I came out of high school a democrat… voted for Obama twice.

In the first year of Trump winning I was echoing the same things a lot of liberals were saying that he is bad and racist.

It was also around this time where I had my first year in the military, being in the military I was surrounded by a lot of mostly conservative men because of the fact that I’m in the infantry.

It wasn’t long after that, that I became more conservative cause I began to hear the perspectives of others who didn’t think like me and I saw their points of view more reasonable and overall more fair.

The only thing I agree with now with the dems is pro choice. Since afterall us conservatives used that body autonomy right with the vaccines. So it would be hypocritical to force women to give birth when there are some instances where women get pregnant without their say…
