Without saying the name of your country, something about your country you're actually really proud of?

Could be anything you want, current events, historically, or food related. What do you really like about your country? I'm just curious what things make people proud since there's plenty of people who hate their homelands.

I personally think there's a lot to be content about as a (semi?) young country, from having a pretty solid political foundation to simpler things within the culture (even though it can vary, some things don't as much). There's also a number of achievements technology or influence wise that's pretty cool.

There was a horrible Earthquake somewhere in the world, and the country needed help. My country sent navy ships there to provide them with drinking water. My country would have done a lot more than that, but the country we were helping hated us, so they wouldn't let us come ashore. If it were up to me, they would have had to fend for themselves. So it's good it wasn't up to me.

Equality of opportunity (not to be confused with outcome) for everyone. Civil service exams. Women can own property and bank accounts and speak other than when spoke to. Acid throwing and honor killings are felonies.

I'm proud of it allowing diverse cultures and cuisines and such to have exposure to the whole country. Anything from anime and manga to Mediterranean cuisine to Serbian rap haha
