Do you live In fear of how you'll end up when you are old?

I think a lot about how people I see that are working regular jobs, getting up in years, and then I wonder how will they end up. Homeless? Living in some rundown apartment, working into their 90's because they need the money.
The only people I know who are doing alright financially are the one's that have family that takes them in, and people that had family leave property and money to them. Oh and the women that married for money.

Please only answer if you are NOT going to be well taken care of. This is only for the one's that will have to find it hard to live when they get old.

Social Security will not always be here for all of us.

Not fear, just wonder. When I was still at MY house, I didn't have a WHOLE lot to worry about but, now that my ex-sisters evicted me and sold it and I'm stuck here at grandma's house where my access to the rest of the world is very limited and I no longer have any family to help me or to rely on, if need be, and hardly any friends at all! I'm basically just on cruise control with not much to look forward to. And, thanks to my stupid aunt, I might end up losing THIS house, too!!

The only people who will retire comfortably are those on government pensions; earned or unearned. Those who di the right thing their whole lives and are financially responsible will get screwed over the most by uncaring globalist Bond villains who want you dead and gone. Yes, I was pretty confident about retirement two years ago and was thinking about retirement but I have elected to go back to work for a few more years. Biden has ruined this country for the middle class.

To address the original question, I don't think I have to worry about living enough to get old. The peasant cattle who don't get on the bus for the last government shower they will ever take usually aren't given long to think about the error of their ways. The drivers and guards' government pensions depend on them sticking to the schedule.

just aware, and not exactly thinking about me, but my family and my friends

we're very close with one another though, not only in my family but in my community too, well, on my street... there is mostly older people here where I live, and a few are older couples that do not have more family, or family that does not show up, two in particular are an older man, and another an older woman, and I often make sure to visit in case they need something done around the house, or just to say hi (other neighbors do it too, I am not the only one)

I’m scared I’ll end up by myself. I have these big ideas in life, but it all requires a guy. I have a crush on this one but I don't know if that will happen or not. Have to wait and see, but I can’t wait around my whole life. I’m sure he’ll come around but again we will see.

So, there are some serious longevity genes in my family. All my grandparents lived to be 90, and one lived to be 101.

Of course, I was there in the end to watch them slowly wither away in hospital beds. So, my greatest fear in life is that I live out live everyone I ever cared about and die a slow death alone and forgotten.

I was pretty confident about the future until about two years ago. I have seen my retirement account plummet and the cost of living double. I was thinking about retiring but have chosen to go back to work because I do not see great things for the future.

I'm afraid of not getting old, that's what I fear the most.

I've thought about how I will end up when I'm old a few times. The only person who can take care of me is my sister, but she has her own life to live. I don't know if I'll have children and getting married is a little bit unlikely. So, I will probably be on my own.

i don't because God will provide for me and i believe in a Filipino sayinh " nasa dyos ang awa nasa tao ang gawa" in English it means the mercy is from God, the work is from people. it essentially means God will bless you if you work. don't expect God to bless yoy and yoy do nothing. i am not guilty of laziness i am just sick so i know God will have mercy on me
