Well that is generally something that happens with rich people. They may be able to "settle" w the accuser rather than go to court n get sentenced. But it'd be up to both parties whether they willing to settle w money or if they try to prove guilt/not guilt n get state involved.

Personally I don't think money should get u out of consequences. The idea is they not do it again, n get punished for doing it. I think prison sentence should be mandatory for every Rist. Even if only the little 4 yr minimum w chance for parole after 2... at least thats a serious consequence for anyone, even rich people. Go to prison rlly disrupts ur life.

Seems like an acceptable civil suit. Not sure legally that’s an option. All laws are for repaying the govt not the victim. Although sometimes prisoners wages can be seized for victims, but again I think that’s more civil suit.
