I’m curious I was wanting a documentary on this murderer called Elliot and they mentioned things about the manosphere and incel culture is like a branch of that. What is it exactly I’m curious. Is it related to the MGTOw subculture as well?
The manosphere is a term used to describe a bunch of loosely connected online “communities” of mainly men, who are mostly anti-feminist.
The PUA community is about men teaching or learning how to attract women.
The red pill community is about men talking about the deeper psychology of women and of attraction.
The Men’s Rights movement is obviously about men’s rights. The MGTOW community is about men who want to avoid relationships with women because they think that the dating game and the legal system is too gynocentric.
The incel community is about men complaining about and coming up with reasons for why they can’t get laid.
While there’s often some overlap where people will belong to two or more different groups, they’re not all the same, and there are also disagreements between each group a lot of the time.
For example the PUAs are all about getting laid and the redpillers are about that or being in relationships, while the MGTOW guys want to encourage men not to be with women at all. Or as another example the men’s rights activists will speak against traditional masculinity for the same reasons that feminists do, but the redpillers and PUAs encourage it.

The Manosphere is trying to make up for the gap caused by a lack of masculinity and fatherhood in western culture. There are many subgenres that fit under the umbrella term, but fundamentally that is the main goal. Most manosphere culture also criticizes marriage as an institution that is broken. JustPearlyThings explains it fairly well:
https://www.youtube.com/embed/ipXjklajnoAWhen 99% of dads on TV look like Homer Simpson, no man really wants to look like a buffoon and be disrespected, so that's what you get for a society.
Different factions of anti feminism. RagnarRedbeard described it well. Much of the sphere has a bitter attitude that men have lost control of women and the social order. They complain about society being gynocentric and they miss the days when everything was catered to men and mens needs and desires.
Elliot Rodger? Manosphere, incels, MGTOW - they're only ever found online, because in the real world any sensible person wouldn't go anywhere near all that crap.

Too much variety to really pin down. Parts of it are about masculinity. Parts of it are about legal disparities, especially in Family Court. Parts of it are lonesome losers trying to learn how to score. Parts of it are outright woman-haters bitter because they've been screwed over or rejected. Some elements are helpful. Some are toxic.
a support network for men who see through the lies of the gynocentric social order and the true agenda of feminism
funnily enough, aspects of the manosphere are used by everyone including those who criticize it
Having never heard of the word "manosphere", let me take a guess: there's "mano", meaning maniac possibly, and sphere. Probably "the sphere of maniacs" ;0)

the circle jerk sphere for all those... that are not men yet
It's the Internet in all it glory and infamy. Some people want to help, some people want to hurt, and some just want to watch the world burn.
It's a brotherhood for men that focus on improving themselves
I guess it was supposed to be a place where man could chat and discuss man stuff but it got invaded by a bunch of toxic individuals.
Please don’t confuse incels for MGTOW men.
MGTOW is a movement for men to work on themselves and learn to be happy with themselves because women are very harsh in the dating world.Another bullshit word where medias and feminists put any man who isn't obeying.
what is the name of the documentary? is it on Netflix?
It’s something very boring.
