Nancy Pelosi did some disrespectful ish about 3 years ago too, standing and ripping papers behind Trump's back as he addressed the country at the state of the union.
Congress as a whole acted like idiots last night while the president was speaking constantly interrupting him with yelling and shaking heads.
Lets limit our opinions to the actual factual evidence that we have on hand - this creates a far more politically educated society overall to do so - "show me the evidence" as economist Thomas Sowell would say.
I do not live in the states so do not have bias in this case - Separate of the issue discussed - lets look at the facts we have proof of only and let that guide our political opinion as the outcome - not the other way around - as many people less educated are more prone to doing (self confirmation bias in psychology is what this is known as).

- Biden stated that a small portion of republicans are against having medicare continued for hard working americans (fact).
- Marjorie (a republican) told biden that he was a liar in stating this (fact).
- Biden stated (paraphrasing) - grest both all on the same page then - medicare will continue to be in place (fact) - show support for this to americans watching on video by standing up to show your support if you agree - the vast majority of both parties stood up to count the vote (passed by congress rule of supermajority - so policy was tabled on the spot as completed to continue as both parties showed they wanted across the board) (fact).
- Majorie calling biden a lier is also misinformation as Republican Rick scott has a signed policy trying to be pushed through to eliminate medicare for hard working americans (fact), and is also on video indicating he - a republican - wants medicare scrapped. for hard working americans to take away their health care coverage (fact). Both of these make Bidens statement that a small amount of republicans are against medicare entirely correct (fact). De facto in law - making Majories entire incorrect in calling him a liar.
- Biden alsp clearly states Rick Scott's signed policy is freely on the gov website for any who wish to fact check this (fact).
I don’t think there should be a state of the union at all. I think they should be writing a letter to Congress in which congress read the non televised letter. And be done with it..
That being said, I think is important when people call out lies, Biden lied, time and time again and that’s speech from the beginning. The state of the union is not great the state of the union is fractured we don’t share an ideology. We don’t agree on the definition of a woman, the definition of racism. Or frankly, anything else this goes back to a quote I actually heard earlier today we have never been the United States of America. We have only been an empire in which regional control is established. That’s the entire 50 states and that’s not a left-wing or right wing argument that is a fact we never wanted to be an empire, we inherited an empire from the British because they refused the Nazis and someone has to carry out the tradition it even if you are the lone survivor and we are the lone survivor and I was alone survivor. We’re going nuts and don’t know what the hell we’re doing
Yes, a president should be respected. I'm not going into party politics since this applies to both. I cringed when Pelosi tore up the speech just as much as I thought it was wrong of Greene to shout. It's disrespectful on both sides of the aisle.
Maybe because they know what a flim-flam man he is. Besides, his woke writers wrote the speech for him or else he would be talking about the money he gets from China.

That question goes both ways, the same shit happened to Trump. If this stage is set for Idiocracy to commence, then it's utter foolishness to expect that what you do will not be returned to you.
I mean, the truth doesn't matter anymore, finding it has become the same as finding a gay blowjob in the 1950s. A winding maze that often is not worth the effort. Though maybe decades down the road this could become the roadmap to the swingers community known as truth.
Maybe all the foolish shit between Trump getting beat down and Biden being well, Biden, will make other politicians more responsible for fear of losing their office. It's possible, Mc Carthy is walking on egg-shells now because of that ripple effect. Sure, the debt ceiling will go up again, and nothing will really change there... but what if he loses his job because of that?
Normally, I'd be appalled to hear the SotU interrupted so callously. But when a not-duly-elected hack is spouting such insane nonsense nonstop, and literally everything he says is a lie, and rather obviously so, there's a limit to the BS that anyone can take.

The office should be respected always, regardless of who occupies it. Yes I agree, I didn't agree when Nancy did it after Trump's address concluded. And I don't agree with how congress behaved the other night.
If someone is telling lies about me in front of millions of people, I'm gonna stop them right there and then. Not everyone watches the response afterward.

I’d say it’s the context of SOTU. It’d be like me shouting at actors during a play. The actors aren’t respected, per se. It’s the context.
