    The most American thing ever?

and have him teach the bird to take off at the sound of a gunshot to hunt wild Big Macs.

Owning a gun doesn't make you American.

We have the right to own or carry guns if we choose.

Learning the constitution, following the values of America makes you American. (Owning a gun is not a value, it's a right that was important back when we didn't have a proper military to protect our nation from attacks)

Protecting freedoms, allowing others the same rights and opportunities as everyone else is American. (Calling out a president that demand protesters be punished by their employees for taking a knee)

Not being quiet when an injustice occurs, is American. (Not defending crooked cops)

Seeing something wrong with America and speaking up, in a way to try to help fix it is American. (Seeing laws or corruption in the system and trying to bring attention to it, in hopes of improving the American experience for all Americans)

We lost our way. We only speak up to piss others off, even if it could remove freedoms from other Americans that they deserve. This is not what American values are. Owning a gun just to own one isn't a value. It's a right the constitution gave us, because it was at the time the only way many Americans could defend themselves and their country.

Would you call out a president who demanded employers fire their employees for violating other civil rights, or do certain rights matter more to you than others? Not seeking conflict, more of a thought exercise.

Violating someone's civil rights is illegal. If you violate the civil rights of others they should be punished by law, and the president is allowed to step in.
Peaceful protesting is free speech. And the amendment everyone screams get violated, specifically prevents the president or any government official from punishing someone or demanding/influencing a private business to punish someone for using their freedom of speech.

These are 2 very different examples. The president is allowed to request a investigation of alleged law breakers, just like the president is allowed to pardon lawbreakers found guilty. He is not allowed to try to influence a private business owner to punish someone because he doesn't like what he is protesting against

The thing i really don't get is how most of his followers scream about how important freedom of speech is, and yet we have witnessed over and over again him without hiding his intentions violate others freedom of speech.
Demanding punishment of people taking a knee.

And this isn't about your agreeance with taking a knee, it is the agreement that they have a right to take one without tje government saying directly to the man running your business you work for, that he should fine, or suspend them for doing so.
If it was biden telling roger goodall that he should fine any player who refused to take a knee, you and all trump supporters and anti BLM would lose their minds.

Biden didn't have private businesses fire people for not taking the vaccine.
He encouraged people to get the vaccine. Private businesses decided to fire people over it.
If you show me evidence that he did. I would completely agree he violated the 1st amendment.
But he does have a right to set guidelines for being a government employee.
We were never forced to get vaccinated.

The one thing i admit i don't have enough knowledge about is the guidelines in place that they had about unvaccinated couldn't participate in certain things, that vaccinated could seems illegal. But i admit that part of the law is not something i know for sure

Also i wouldn't vote for biden unless he ran against trump again
Why? Because trump is a threat to our constitution. I watched a press conference where he boldly declared he would not give her anything until she called him and apologized.
i forget which state she represented, but she apparently said something that made him mad.
He refused to give her respirators that they needed to save lives of the people in her state until she apologized.
That again was a violation of free speech. Her opinion angered him. He punished her and the people who lived in her state by not giving her equipment that could save lives.
So i ask why would you want a president that anytime someone who represents your state angers him, could punish everyone in that state?

Military and government is his jurisdiction because they work for the government/president. Contractors are private business being paid by the government, and has to follow the government employees policies while under contract with the government.
So he can make those rules.

As for hospitals. It states that public health and safety rules and guidelines because they are to protect the safety of the patients they take care of, must follow the same rules that government ran hospitals have, do to the high risk of illness or life threatening diseases/injuries.
So far, all examples you have given was not a violation of civil rights.
But the examples i gave you are violations of first amendment rights by trump.

You may not like, Biden. Neither do I, but he didn't violate any laws or rights from the examples you gave me. If you want to work for the government you have to follow the rules of employment set in place by the government.
I have people who worked for the military, it has always been mandatory to be up to date for all vaccines, and if not they will make you get them or kick you out this didn't start with covid.

Unfortunately private hospitals have to follow certain guidelines and covid vaccines is one of them because they made it mandatory for employment due to safety guidelines.

That isn't how rights work at all. And thousands of people seem to agree with me who usedto work there, to the point where so many quit that my state governor had to activate the National Guard to fill staff positions to keep the hospital open. If they can put that in your body this time, what can government do ide to put in your body next time? Ever heard of Handmaids Tale?

It is how it works. Because people disagree with it doesn't mean it doesn't work that way.
All these guidelines are public knowledge and can be found with searching. I researched a lot of these guidelines because i am looking into opening a business that would be government aided.
Their are lots of rules that many Americans have no clue about, but when you learn about them it would surprise you as to how much control the government has.
Even me. I had a choice vaccination or give up my scholarship because we were not allowed to compete in athletics without it.

Yes it's a make believe show, and this is not the same.
Being vaccinated didn't take away your right to work. Just your right to work at jobs that made it a requirement to be vaccinated.
This is not a forced vaccine. In fact when he tried to overstep, they took it to the supreme court and shut him down, as they should.
You know why it hospital regulations didn't go to court, because it wasn't a violation of civil rights.
You be surprised how many companies you didn't know has to follow very strict government regulations because of safety and health regualtions.

The reason is there is a direct line between government mandating you put shots in your body to the Handmaids Tale. It's not about the shot it's about government power.

What happens when it becomes impossible to pretend the social security ponzi scheme could ever pay it's obligations because the damn peasants are living too long all of a sudden and so the government needs more taxpayers and drafts women to get pregnant involuntarily until the tax rolls populate again? They'll be dead by the time that population bomb blows up and wrecks the SS program even harder.

It always goes that direction and it's always hilarious who brings up Trump first, at least to me. The entire US history has been a culture of pride in gun ownership, and four years of that had him as President. It just goes to show who is really obsessed with Trump.

That is the most stupid fucking muricanism I've seen in a while.

Even a child knows you don't fuck around with guns, let alone in the wrong stance.

No wonder most muricans can't afford healthcare. They have fuckwits like these running around with guns and ammo.

In fact, they HAVE guns to shoot and kill fuckwits like these, and stopping them breeding.

this was pretty impressive. Yes, exercising your right to bear arms is one of the most American things you can do. There are not too many countries that will provide a way for citizens to be able to defend themselves, their families and their property. The Walther P38 was an amazing weapon.
