It's fucking scary that's what it is, and many people think it's a great thing too. Your allowed a car but only allowed to drive it 150 times or something and then it's an increasing charge per time you drive it. The only way you're allowed to leave your area/district is to use public transport and everyone knows what happens if you give over complete control to one company, prices will skyrocket due to them being the only option. If I was to get a monthly scooter pass it's about 60 a month, I do get a monthly bus pass it's currently 85 a month (I'm a bit cheeky and get the student pass instead so I pay 65 a month). But the alternative is to drive. To make it the only mode of transport makes me feel sick. The tube is quite efficient but my city doesn't have that, but it does seem to work well with time in London, but if the cost for a 8min journey is 4 then I can only imagine what it's like for a month.

Personally I'm right leaning so while I don't believe everything that comes out of peoples mouths. I'm really scared about the future. Every day I hear about zero carbon emissions by 2030 that's only 7 years away, even though the original plan was supposed to be 2050. They're already disallowing the building orf any new petrol or diesel cars, it's just electric, and there's talks of shutting the used cars dealerships, there's no way anyone in my family can afford electric, and then having the battery due every 3-5 years. Then they kept saying there's going to be country wide blackouts during Christmas 2022 don't turn on your Christmas lights everyone - most people didn't listen, and what do you know there were no blackouts reported. But if every single street had electric cars jeesh. The retirement age is going to be 72 possibly even 75 for me, it's already gone up an extra year for dad, even though they said they weren't going to increase his age bracket. You know what's funny if you work the 20/30 odd years needed to get the maximum pension allowance from the government. You're earning £1.30 a week more then the cap on extra benefits, such as free dental, heating grants, bonus amount per week. So if you don't work you'll get more free stuff than if you did work.

I just get really vexed about the government's green policies lately, and I do actually care for the environment and try to recycle everything I can but they're going overboard for a minority of people. Rather than research a natural fuel that we can modify our cars with they want to control the public and force people off the streets. If it ever comes into fruitation I'm going to do my first ever march.

And these policies have nothing to do with environmentalism. They are about controlling populations and theft of resources.

Biden already raised the retirement age to 80 without telling anyone. He just doubled the prices of everything and tanked he stock market. Who can afford to retire now?

That just makes me glad I'm not in the US, I don't really get it tbh the more I actually hear of trump I think he's the better president and I've actually heard some of his speeches. I mean I lost respect for biden (and I mean the general respect I have for everyone) when I saw him fall up the steps a total of five times before managing to get himself sorted. But his words are boring and don't tend to reflect his actions. And while that's glimpses as I typically don't pay much attention to my own politics let alone another country, they do seem telling in what kind of people they are.

Basically the idea to give people everything they need available 15 minutes around their home.
The catch is, you can't leave your area of residence, you can't have a car, and you can only have what the government allows to be sold there.
Basically a prison only with what your government think you need.
