Why does the USA help illegal immigrants but not the already homeless citizens we have?

I believe we should put all our energy and money into helping US citizens that are homeless. The government should instead use the money to build more government housing for homeless people and poverty people but instead we give it to illegal immigrants.

I'm not much for socialism, but it does tick me off that we give money away to illegals and their anchor babies, we also give billions in foreign aid while ignoring the issues of citizens.

While I am anti socialism, I'd rather have that money spent on citizens who parents are legal citizens.

The US gives away too much money to other organizations, UN, World Health Organization, NATO, tons of foreign aid.

Democrats will claim illegals can't get any government benefits, while ignoring the fact that their illegal children get free public education.

They also want them to become the voter base, by passing laws where illegals can technically vote but the only way they will ever get caught is to admit they voted illegally because they ensure that it can never be questioned that there is vote Fraud unless it is stumbled up on. Laws that prevent anyone from going looking for it, to search to find it. They want it to be miraculous found before allowing audits and searches.

Some states allow illegals to get state ID or drivers licenses, then use those to register to vote, some allow a utility bill to register to vote. Same for college ID cards to vote, none of those check citizenship status to ensure they can vote.

I have illegals in my family some Dreamers some not who admit they have voted and it was easy to do so.

The reason is, it is far more important for the democrats use the money to buy votes then to help homeless who likely will not even vote nor vote for democrats if they do vote.

It's because liberals are insane and also want to further build their base. We also don't properly care about the mental health crisis in this country either. Look at what happened in New York City when progressive Bill DeBlasio was mayor and he appointed his own wife Chirlane McCray to be the "Mental Health Czar":       Where the hell did all of those New York City taxpayer dollars go? 🤔

It's like they're more concerned with getting laid by some foreign hotties than taking care of their own people. But you know what we should do? Kind of like how our idiot in chief just signed off on our 35th military aid package to Ukraine (and yes a 36th is already being drafted) but won't arm and reinforce the schools or our own borders for fractions of the cost while saying "it'll cost too much."

We do help homeless citizens as there are programs out there to help them. Some people refuse help and that gets tricky. I don't know one city that actually ignores it completely. We need to do more. It's not that we're not doing anything as you suggested.
