Forrest Gump tells us "stupid is as stupid does", and Republicans LOVE, LOVE, LOVE uneducated people! Keep 'em dumb, lie to them, and convince them that their plight hasn't changed for the better by voting for Dems - as if it would by voting for Repubs.
Then you have guys like Tim Scott (R - SC) who's done a few good bi-partisan effort things in Congress but has taken up the torch Trump holds for re-writing facts to fit his personal narrative, or just outright lying. He's currently trying to promote himself as a living example that blacks can rise up from poverty and oppression and become a success, yet in the process denies there's such a thing as institutional racism and white privilege because - well, look at me! Look at Oprah. And so on.Tim sounds good at times and hints at supporting things like a 15 or 20 week abortion ban, but stops short of taking a firm position on it. To me, he's one of those guys that I just... don't... trust. Yet sadly, very sadly and pathetically, he's a better choice than anyone else in the Republican field at this time.

And you mean to tell me liberals are smart? When they’re the ones that think its ok to take underage kids to drag shows?
Y’all are seriously fcked up in the head. Just go get some therapy - 1 y
@KrakenAttackin @Exterminatore Seriously. The “intelligence” of these arrogant people who like to think their superior amazes me.
- 1 y
@WhiteBoyChill LOL First of all, even though I DO realize you're not capable of critical thought or analysis, I'll point this out any way. The number of parents who ACTUALLY take their kids to see drag shows of ANY kind is what? So many that you moron Republicans found it pressing enough to make a law about it? And I'm fucked in the head?
Thousands of clergy abuse kids annually and how many drag queens do? When kids who have been to drag shows are interviewed, they KNOW these are guys dressing like women and they understand it's an act. When you take a kid to church and a "trusted priest" fondles your kids' privates and tells them "it's ok", they DON'T know it's not ok - moron, and it fucks them up for life!
You are SO fucking stupid that you will get distracted by ANY diversion they throw in your face, because your party has NO platform or idea other than fascism. Liberals are way smarter, not even a question. If it weren't for "liberals", you'd still be living in a cave.
- 1 y
@WhiteBoyChill It's not difficult to be more of a critical thinker than YOU are... lol.
According to worldpopulationreview. com, the 16 dumbest states include:
New Mexico, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Nevada, California, Arkansas, West Virginia, Texas
South Carolina, Alaska, Hawaii, North Carolina, Kentucky, Missouri, Florida
Of these 16 states, 12 have state legislatures controlled by Republicans, 1 is purple, and 3 are blue, which obviously means, in 12 out of the dumbest 17 states, people vote Republican. But guess what - the 10 states that are considered the most gerrymandered: Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah and West Virginia.
Only ONE of those states is blue, one is purple, and the other 8 are RED! I doubt you're able to see the connection, but Republicans know they can't win straight up elections, so they have to gerrymander to the extreme.
Oh, by the way, you failed your grammar test again: " arrogant people who like to think their superior amazes me." In this sentence, it's supposed to "they're superior". Understanding your native language and being able to write it properly is really arrogant, isn't it? - 1 y
There is no such thing as institutional racism or white privilege.
White straight Christian males are the group that faces the most predjuice in America.
As far as institutional racism goes, we have a hypersensitivity in America to racism directed against anyone but whites. - 1 y
@Exterminatore Is that sarcasm too, or are you just the stupidest person on the planet. LOL
"There is no such thing as institutional racism or white privilege." - You really are an idiot.
What was slavery? The lynchings that went on for years? Ever hear of the Jim Crow laws? How about genocide against the Indians? Indian boarding schools? Jackie Robinson's life was threatened for years just for being black and playing baseball in a league of whites. The list of institutional racist policies are endless, and as humiliating as separate bathrooms.
Damn you're stupid.
"White straight Christian males are the group that faces the most predjuice in America."
Can't use a spell checker, bubba? It's prejudice, not whatever you wrote, and you don't even know what it means.
REAL Christians don't face much prejudice in the USA - it's the current bunch of fake Christians who are really neo-Nazi fascists invoking the name of God ( go look up the Crusades, ass hat), who deservedly get the backlash coming at them.
Shit, I didn't think anyone could be dumber than WBC, but I was wrong. It's you. LOL Are you really a Russian troll, or just a dumbass trumper? - 1 y
@loves
First of all dude if you want to have a debate about this we can. However keep the name calling to yourself. I think you’re both stupid and an idiot but I don’t feel the need to share that with you.
You’re talking about things that happened anywhere between 70 - 300 years ago when we started importing slaves before America existed.
This is 2023. If you want to have white guilt over it, you do that. I’m not sorry for things I didn’t do.
When are we going to move on? If you want to suck black D to make up for it all, that fine. I acknowledge every race and creed upon this earth have done wrong and have had wrong done to them and I have no interest in drudging up the past and pretending it’s all still relevant.
The institutional racism that existed no longer does and has been replaced with a hypersensitivity to racism for everyone but whites.
You go look up the crusades brilliant one. You’ll find the tale you were told of Christian’s coming down to the Levant from Europe to steal Muslim lands is a crock. You’ll find the Seljuk Turks were attacking the Byzantine Empire and conquering their lands so Alexis Kommons I appealed to Pope Urban II for help. You’ll also find they were committing atrocities against pilgrims to Jerusalem.
Get an education instead of an indoctrination. - 1 y
And let’s talk about white privilege. Do you seriously think I get the red carpet and trumpets blaring for me everywhere I go? Do you think I don’t get speeding tickets cause I’m white. Do you really think all I need is being white for qualifications for any job? If I’m
Arraigned for a crime do you think the judge just lets me go cause I’m
White.
You’ll believe anything your told won’t you.
You’re anti white racist even though your white. Is that what you learned in school brilliant one? To hate your own race. - 1 y
@WhiteBoyChill
The arrogance amazes me too. This dude feels the need to to call me an idiot while acting like slavery actually exists at current time. He’s indoctrinated beyond belief and tries to be insulting. Mentiones the Crusades and obviously knows exactly nothing about them. I guarantee he’s never heard of Bohemond of Toranto, - 1 y
Never heard of Raymond of Tolouse, or Peter the Hermit, or Tancrid, prince of Galilee, but he thinks he’s gonna counsel me on the Crusades.
Only a very arrogant person would purpose to call someone an idiot regarding a subject they don’t know anything about, all while being unaware the other person has studied the subject to great depth. - 1 y
@loveslongnails Than prove to me liberals are smarter. Show me an actual study. Instead of just using your blind judgement.
- 1 y
@Exterminatore This guy’s just a POS plain and simple. Has to resort to namecalling and insults because there’s no actual sound argument he has.

Because the worst place for black people to live in this country are all democrat controlled cities.
The Black neighborhoods are crime ridden, there is no chance for someone to pull themselves out of the shit hole that the Dems created because no business are going to go into those neighborhoods so there are no quality jobs there..
And it's been like that for like 50+ years.. so either Dems don't care.. or they are completely incompetent
Let's not forget the Dems created the kkk and literally fought a war to keep black people as slaves..

@loveslongnails Democrats needed Republican support for Civil Rights to pass in the 60’s
- 1 y
@WhiteBoyChill You say that AS IF it was some sort of "accomplishment" that Republicans at the time sorta kinda acknowledged that Black People are also human and should be granted basic human rights. What a wonderful concession.
- 1 y
@loveslongnails Lol no. You say it AS IF it was some sort of "accomplishment" that Democrats are racist and really didn't/don't care about black people, and need the help and support of Republicans show the people that they really "care" about them.
- 1 y
Conservative. Lol if it weren't for Republicans, there would be slaves. Look at people such as Abraham Lincoln. Republicans were formed as a party against slavery, and they are still against racism. Democrats were formed as a party for slavery, and were pushing for acts such as the Compromise of 1850, which pushed for slavery in most of the country. Some Whigs, Democrats, Free-Soilers, and abolitionists joined in 1854 to form the Republican Party, a political party united against the spread of slavery in the West. Like I said, the REPUBLICAN party was/is against racism. If you don't understand how minorites support a party against racism, I am so sorry. Democrats are actively trying to erase history. When you try to erase history, you are BOUND to repeat it. Plus, Democrats were a large percentage of the KKK. A lot of the older Democratic politicians who are still alive are trying to claim the party isn't racist. Yet, why were they in the KKK? Hmm? Educate yourself. Please.
- 1 y
@Amarasimmons7 You educate yourself. That WAS the Republican Party, PAST tense. WAS. It's no longer that nor has it been for decades.
" Democrats are actively trying to erase history." This is where I lose all respect for your ability to engage in critical thought. Are you nuts?
* It's ultra Conservative groups like the Alliance Defending Freedom and the Council for National Policy that want textbooks re-written to be even MORE biased than they presently are and have been.
* It's Republicans NOW who want history to deny that slavery was the primary cause of the Civil War, and teach kids bullshit about "states rights". Uh huh - the right of the state to enslave an entire race.
* It's Republicans who want to deny that the US Government EVER engaged in ANY kind of genocidal behavior against Native Americans.
And this list goes on and on.
Who's in the KKK today? A shit ton of Republicans in ALL Red states! And if there are Dems in their too, they're sure as shit not the majority of the membership anymore. Get your head into 2023. The GOP can cling to the "we were the abolitionists, we freed the slaves" mantra forever, but it's not who they are NOW... today. Today they are the party of the Big Lie and openly undying support for a crazed narcissist, lying, twice impeached, indicted ex-President. But wait - is that a lie too? Don't they admittedly loathe him in private, but don't want his voting base to know this?
If you're too indoctrinated to see the bills being proposed by Republicans all across this country, in all different areas of concern, I can see why you think your "argument" has any validity, but it doesn't, it's a sound byte. The GOP is the exact OPPOSITE now of what it started out to be, and NOW is what matters. Too bad your brain can't see this.
- 1 y
@loveslongnails Lol I'm done arguing. Dumb, uneducated people like you are the reason that our country is in the hands of an ancient luncatic. Keep believing what you believe, and being defensive, not listening to what everyone that you "Called out" is trying to educate you about. It's fine. Have fun.
- 1 y
@loveslongnails No, I’m saying your party didn’t care anywhere near as much about civil rights as you claim it did
- 1 y
@Amarasimmons7 Hmm, I'm uneducated. LMAO. I have a teaching degree, you idiot, and I know what's historically true, and I also know what's true today. No one is knocking on my door to educate me about the benefits of voting Republican. Your misguided view of the party in its current state just demonstrates what a fool you are, and I am truly sad there are so many of you, especially in Congress.
- 1 y
@WhiteBoyChill The opposition to the Civil Rights Act came from a small group of southern Democratic Senators led by Strom Thurmond of S. C. and Richard Russell of Georgia. It's true that 80% of Republican Senators initially voted for the bill and only 69% of Dems did. It's also true that all the remaining non-support in the Senate came from the Confederate states.
It was geography more than party affiliation that accounted for the voting coalitions that pushed through the bill. It was 1964, the same year the bill was enacted, that LA, MS, AL, GA and SC went red for the first time in 100 years. Over the next 24 years, the party's reversed roles. By the time Reagan left office, the divide was a large one, mostly because of his policies. It began more about the "haves and have nots" at that time. Now, 32 years after the end of Reagan's Presidency, the Republican Party in a few red states is trying to re-establish Jim Crow laws.
The one and only reason that Georgia is now a purple state is due to the large Black voting population in Atlanta and Savannah, and the efforts of Stacy Abrams. The R's still control the State Legislature because of all the rural counties in Georgia that are predominantly Republican and white. MTG's Congressional district is the 2nd whitest district in all of Georgia. - 1 y
@WhiteBoyChill some people like @loveslongnails just prove our point about stupid uneducated people lol.

@Amarasimmons7 You two have no point, but you do make a nice couple of incredible ignorant maga-dolts. Your pitiful defense of TODAY'S Republican Party is a perfect example of pure stupidity. Well I'll give you this - at least you're 100% about something, wrong as it may be.

@loveslongnails I’m just surprised you never learned the difference between education and indoctrination. Hence why you’ve had to resort to mostly insults and namecalling. A signature tactic of the left.
Shame and guilt other people for their beliefs, instead of convincing them to adopt yours. Maybe just have a more compelling argument next time instead of acting like a motherfcking child with a temper tantrum and bruised ego - 1 y
@WhiteBoyChill You and your ilk don't ever listen to anyone else's more compelling arguments because you're so fucking indoctrinated yourself there's no room in your head for the truth. That's why you still support Trump, and the names fit. I've spent decades calmly explaining to stupid people exactly WHY their premises are wrong, or bullshit, and shown them the results. It rarely makes a difference, and the dumber they are, the more wasted the time and words.
Let me nutshell this for you - anyone, and I do mean ANYONE, who currently supports Trump after all his shit and criminal friends, lawyers, cabinet members, advisors, etc, being arrested and doing jail time for lying for him, is a total - yeah, wait for it - fucking idiot, INCAPABLE of critical thinking, and certainly incapable of educating themselves. IF you don't see that, we have no reason to engage in a discussion. - 1 y
@loveslongnails Either that or you’re a p*ssy liberal who cares way too much about stuff. What did Trump do in your life? He lowered my taxes and I’m not part of the “Ultra Wealthy” either

@WhiteBoyChill Man dumb people won't give up will they? 🤣🤣
- 1 y
@Amarasimmons7 you think conservatives, ie status quo people, supported the Civil Rights Act? you're dumber than shit.
- 1 y
@WhiteBoyChill Pussy liberals who care too much about STUFF! LOL STUFF. You mean like stuff that matters? LOL I love that.
"He lowered your taxes". LMAO For a couple of years, then that expired, while he gave the top 3% PERMANENT tax breaks, all of which added about $1.3 trillion to the debt over an 8 year period. He did this despite his OWN people telling him it would do this. OK dude - that's a FACT. Do you give a shit that your country is deeper in debt, or "what the fuck - doesn't affect me"? ( ah, but it does).
What did Trump do in my life? How about everyone's life? One of worst thing he did was skirt with treason by sucking up to Putin and other dictators. He's nothing but the kid who consistently disappoints you.
But internally in the US, his lies, deceit, pure stupidity and the criminal acts and convictions/jail sentences of his closest associates are a disgrace. He severely divided the people of this country with his onslaught of lies and con jobs. You either accepted him as Fuhrer or rejected him, and the entire populace had to be one or the other. NO President has every LIED as deeply or as often as he did, and continues to do. He continues to do so, and YOU support him!! What does that make you? Rhetorical question - I know the answer.
Don't believe me - ask the most trusted name in research in the world -no not Brookings, not Heritage, but PEW.

@loveslongnails You know, I’m just surprised things like that upset you so much. And things were already divided because of the Obama years.
- 1 y
@WhiteBoyChill You're surprised because you're apathetic about anything that doesn't directly affect your little life. The dividing started firmly with Reagan, which you might have a chance of reckoning with if you did the research on his policies. It's just easier for you to blame a Democrat, any Democrat, even though Obama saved this country from an all-out depression resulting from the Bush/Cheney debacle. You see, you don't WANT facts. We had a surplus when Bush took over, then we had the bogus war, Halliburton making billions of dollars at the expense of the US taxpayers, and THEN a crash.
And you wonder why this is sooooo upsetting, huh? Well, ignorance is indeed bliss, hence, yes Sir, Mr. Trump. - 1 y
@loveslongnails Well I will remind you, there are many within the Republican circle that don’t support war-mongerers and neo-cons like the Bushes.
- 1 y
@WhiteBoyChill So where were they when Cheney was making billions? I didn't hear them, still don't. There was nothing "neo" about the Bushes, or any Republican since then until now with the infiltration of their party by "White Fake Christian Nationalists". That's what's new, and a few groups to trod on while they fear monger indoctrination by the queer, and replace it with their own brand of indoctrination.
- 1 y
@loveslongnails Whatever man. Just talk to people a bit more I guess. I’m friends with plenty of Republican people that don’t like the Bush family

Obama didn’t fix anything. He added trillions in debt and oversaw the nation’s weakest economic recovery

@WhiteBoyChill actually he fixed the deficit, saved millions in jobs and set us on a great financial future. Then the orange orangutan passed his tax cuts for billionaires which spent trillions for nothing. And we’re right back in the hole.

3.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. What the hell are you talking about? Explain to me how the confederate flag is no different than the gay pride flag. Both of them are imperialistic, frankly, the confederate flag has mower ground to stand on, then the gay pride flag. both flags should be burning and eradicate from public life. But please tell me what is the difference guys like having butt sex with other guys versus states rights and more in favor of states rights
049 Reply- 1 y
Depends on who you talk to. There still many who believe it standard for freedom and southern pride. For the most part yes it’s seen as a sigh for slavery.
The gay pride and trans pride flags are imperialist. Flags.. you will expect and love this flag otherwise your country is evil. Liberals claim they love multiculturalism. How about a culture that puts gays to death for being gay? Do you respect them? No? To bad your to except homosexuality and transgender. Or we will sanction you until your country is dead. Look at the relationship between the United States and Uganda. Or our embassy in Jamaica flying the gay pride flags while the Jamaican citizens protest the gay flag being flown. - 1 y
@Soteris @Stoner710
No it doesn’t “depend”. Was it a flag used to fight for slavery? - 1 y
The swastika was used tabs the flag of the Nazis who is but the swastika was used as a Buddhist peace sigh and an eurasian culture is meant good fortune, and prosperity. The symbol facing clockwise. 卐 symbolizes the sun or surya the counter clockwise symbol means 卍 symbolizes night. We of course when we see this sigh automatically this Nazis. Even Native American tribes use the symbol mainly in the Navajo tsil no'oli used in healing rituals. In Buddhism, and meant success.
This is why I say it depend on who you talk to about the confederate flag. It means different things to different people. As someone who’s family fought for the north to mean it means it’s defending slavery. To Joh doe in the south it means southern pride and not slavery, it means rebellion or screw the man type thing. - 1 y
As I said before, the flag everyone thinks is the confederate flag is the battleflag of the Army of Northern Virginia which indeed fought in the civil war on the side of the confederacy. Granted, it is a battle flag and therefore square like this:
dos.myflorida.com/.../...deracy_battle_500x500.jpg
and not the normal rectangle like you mostly see nowdays:
But that is where they got it from, which is important in this context because they keep incorrectly attributing it to the confederacy as a whole while at the same time professing their respect to their heritage which they obviously neither know anything about, since they keep doing this obvious mistake, nor do they obviously care about it.
This becomes even more obvious when you trace back when they started using this flag and it just boils down to racists trying to launch a populist political movement against black people. That is the actual heritage that the flag which they wave around currently stand for and it has nothing to do with the civil war. - 1 y
@Soteris that fair there really isn’t a history for the confederate flag as there is where the swastika (ancient and common symbol throughout history like when I go to Japan, and look for a Shinto shrine, a go to the swastika, because the swastika associated with many different religions throughout the course of history). I ultimately the flag does represent slavery, except for those who believe that it’s Southern pride and heritage. I understand the arguments, even though I disagree with it.
- 1 y
Incorrect. You had a centralized government from the start. Of course, there was a political struggle since at the time the political divide was mostly between "federalists" (not actually true federalists, they just saw it as a necessary evil) and "Anti-federalists" which you might call "states rights" today, granted they believed in radically different things so they are not directly comparable.
As such, the role of the federal government was moved around somewhat depending on which side had more voters at the time but it was definitely still a "centralized government".
The civil war did also change the power dynamic somewhat since many of the people who joined the confederacy was anti-federalists which hurt their political powerbase after the conflict. None of this however was what caused the civil war, just some of the results of it. And again, the confederate states wrote down why they seceded and they clearly wrote down slavery as a main cause. - 1 y
@Soteris no we didn’t the founders hated centralized government why do you think we had a federalist system. That is the whole point of the Federalist papers. So that states could rule themselves. The civil war changed that. The war was fought in order to say fuck you to the federal government a centralized government does not work with the population and different ideas every state has if we didn’t have the idea of the federalist system we would be in a civil war right now. If the idea of federalism is dead so is the United States
- 1 y
Federal governments are inherently already centralized. The moment you established things like a "president" or a federal army or federal taxes or any number of other centralized government systems you already had a centralized government. You just sound confused here quite frankly.
- 1 y
@Soteris why do you think we didn’t have a standing army until after ww1 the founds thought a standing army was tyranny. The founders also originally gave the federal government to only collect sales tax, it wasn’t until the 16th amendment was ratified we started to have a sales tax. The government literally has to amend the constitution in order for the federal government to collect income tax. The founders hated centralized government, if the founders could come back and see what they created they would be both impressive and horrified likely because of the income tax and standing army the founders would start a revolution today
- 1 y
No, you had a standing army before that. Even I know that and I have not studied American history. Also, the founding fathers did not think a standing army was tyranny. They had split views on the subject so dont come here and claim there was actually a consensus.
Furthermore, if the founding fathers believed in one thing then it would be that the values of the country should change over time. They would be horrified by USA as it is today but mostly because its full of right wing extremism, corruption and various encroachments on civil rights such as the NSA. Not because the government is more centralized than before. Note that I said more, not that it was not centralized previously. - 1 y
@Soteris yes the founders were divided on the standing army, this goes back to the federalist (Hamilton, John Jay, James Madison) vs anti-federalist. Robert Yates, George Clinton. And Samuel Bryan. (I have no idea if George Clinton is related to Bill Clinton) of course the federalist won. The founders set up another government before the constitution system we have now. It’s called the articles of confederation where the federal government was not allowed to collect taxes at all. Hence why they made the federal government a little more powerful but they wanted to states to have more power than the federal government from the start. A direct contrast to the American revolution is the French revolution. What was not to fight against tyranny that he’s been like a king. That’s why you have people like Edmund Burke criticized the French Revolution but called the American Revolution valid. (He was a British liberals)
Yes the founders believe that the country would change John Adams was almost completely accurate that the Civil War would occur because of slavery which it did. (The south said it was states right so it was both slavery and states right was the issue) John Adams was seven years off it was 8 years after the signing of the constitution 72 years. Of course, they didn’t mean that the federal government gets more powerful or more centralized they wanted the federal government to be weak. They wanted to state governments to be strong. So they would be appalled at the way the government is run today. - 1 y
So it was a flag used to fight for slavery, like the Nazi swastika was used…well for slavery too ironically. Ultimately it was murdering tens of millions of people, but first they brought slavery back to the European continent, which isn’t talked about enough.
Yes it was a Buddhist symbol and maybe the confederate battle flag had a different meaning. But fcked up people ruin shit. Ain’t my fault. - 11 mo
I know three black people with the stars and bars tattooed on them. I guess they're just clandestine white supremacists
- 11 mo
@BoopBoopBeep my god, then history doesn’t matter now that you know three black guys. Lol
- 11 mo
If it's "not racist" enough that they're tattooing it on them I don't think it's appropriate for white people to be telling them how they should feel about it. Woke white people being offended FOR other people is the new iteration of the bigotry of low expectations.
- 11 mo
@BoopBoopBeep well, you’re getting a bit confused. There’s no “authority” on woke or what’s right. There’s just opinions and getting sneered at in public. Wear a KKK outfit no one will should bother you or it’s their fault. But you will be hissed at and called a racist for sure.
Same for swastikas (Hindu symbol for peace) and rebel battle flag. Sorry. - 11 mo
You don't see the irony in telling a black person they're a slave lover because they have a southern flag?
- 11 mo
@BoopBoopBeep no, because three individual crazies aren’t my concern. Just like the three same black guys at every Trump rally.
Sorry but like the swastika, that flag was used to fight for slavery. Boom done. You wanna use it as a symbol of rebel, bandit or to tell people you love the south fine. But you can’t escape the baggage the flag comes with. - 11 mo
@BoopBoopBeep Arguing that individuals from the minority in question have adopted or sided with their own oppressors so you do not have grounds to stand on is quite stupid. First of all, the moral and logical position does not require you do rely others, it is self evident. Secondly and perhaps more importantly, it is a well known phenomena that happens during every case of oppression be it Nazis gassing Jews or whatever.
If the confederacy did stand for white supremacy we would STILL expect to see some members of the black community wholeheartedly supporting it. If they did not exist then that would actually be a better argument that something else was going on since it breaks with the tradition of these things. - 11 mo
- 11 mo
- 11 mo
@BoopBoopBeep so my ancestors were white. Came here in the 1880s- ish, can’t really remember. But they definitely had more opportunity than current blacks, right? So did their children. Whilst the blacks’ children remained in poverty.
Soon it got to me and you- we probably aren’t related lol- and blacks still have less opportunity and wealth. Why? - 11 mo
- 11 mo
@BoopBoopBeep That is a really stupid argument. Lets say your father had a twin and they had the exact equal in everything. Then lets say your dads twin stole all of your dads material possession and as a result you were born without a home and could not go to school and lets say both your dad and his twin died shortly after leaving your side of the family with no inheritance.
You would not have been alive during the time where your father was oppressed but your current situation in life is definitely influenced by it. In many ways its even worse for black people since their entire culture and history was taken from them. They do not know what kingdom or tribe their family comes from or where in the world that was. They do not know their culture, their religion, their anything. They have been reduced to being an "African American" with all that entails as opposed to people who might be from Italian decent or whatever. I do not think you understand just how big of a deal this is but whatever, moving on.
I will say this once and I want you to take notes:
FUCK YOUR SOUTHERN PRIDE.
Quite frankly, neither you nor anyone else I have ever heard of has any. Why do I know this? Because you are all worshiping what is literally false history, a mythology crafted by racists as opposed to ACTUAL southern heritage. How do you expect me to take any of you seriously when you dont even know the correct flag of the confederacy you supposedly take pride in? It is clear to me that you are only paying it cheap lip service as opposed to actually giving a shit about your heritage which is doubly a spit in the face of black people since they literally dont have a choice because America stole that from them.
Shame on you. - 11 mo
@Soteris
Uhm... I missed a memo... so using your twin-dad example... black people can't go to school? Where's that? My partner's an attorney FFS and I'm a six-figure consultant. I paid for a house with a cashier's check. Wah wah life so hard. Wish some white folk come save us from these mud huts we be livin' in. GTFO of here with that nonsense. I love it when white people (which I'm assuming you are based on what you said earlier) tell non-whites they're supposed to be offended or oppressed about something. THAT is racism. That we're not smart enough to understand WHAT we should feel about something without the obligate white savior coming in and ecksplain to us what's what.
No shame on me partner ;)
Southern pride has nothing to do with history. People are proud of current southern culture. The food, the music, the, ahem, politeness.
I don't know what kingdom or tribe my family comes from. I also don't care. They're dead. - 11 mo
@BoopBoopBeep The example was no a strict 1 to 1 correlation with reality but just to demonstrate that past events can have tangible and drastic real world consequences even if you personally was never there to be subjected to them. Maybe I should have stated that but I did not feel it needed clarification but I felt that might be patronizing and implying that you were too stupid to understand that yourself.
Also, Southern Pride has everything to do with history. Where do you think culture, food, music and "politeness" comes from? - 11 mo
@Soteris Past events last week, sure. The one guy in town that doesn't have blonde hair walks into the bank and robs it they may be a little jittery when I walk in next week. What happened prior to anyone living even being conceived has had minimal effect on them. Their life choices has far more effect on them.
What oppression have I, or anyone I know suffered because of my/their skin color. Real oppression not some whiny ist like "that lady clutched her bag when I walked by." I got up, when I wanted to, went to a charity 10k, came back to my 14-room house to F around on G@G and sip mimosas while I determine if I'm going to drop 5 figures on a new firearm or maybe find a place to hang up some of my art collection I've had on loan to a gallery.
I mean... I wish some MFs would come oppress me more if this is what that looks like cause having to refill my own drink feels like some straight up punitive ist.
Have you ever been to the south? Not just driven through. I mean actually spent time there? If so, can we talk about where, and your experience there? I miss it all the time. Humidity is a MF and I'm not going back to that ever, but I'll always be a southern boy at heart. I'm really sorry that it doesn't seem like it was as enjoyable for you. I'd love to go show you around one day once my health gets better. I really mean that. - 11 mo
@BoopBoopBeep Now, now, now. There is no logical argument that you can make that time in itself is a problem here. Time by itself does not change anything, you would have to point to an actual event that causes the situation to change. Also, your argument that you yourself is not subjected to oppression or whatever so no one else can be either is also a retarded argument.
If you want evidence for the current effects of racism and oppression in USA then just look at the disparity between the groups of people in question. Biologically they are similar to the point of being identical and there is no scientific evidence behind the separation of humanity into "races" so the only effective difference is luck and history. Part of that history would be oppression.
Now, would you stand here and say that the average white person is in the same financial and social position as a black person while living in USA? Please do, it would be funny if someone actually believed this.
Also, I have indeed been to the south. I visited some friends who lived there in fact. - 11 mo
@Soteris Yeah timeframe is relevant. Jesus got crucified so I shouldn't have a long beard or that'll happen to me is less likely of a fear than bro... this roving band of cray crays is straight up shaving or killing anybody out there with 5oclock shadow or more!
Proximity (via time) is one way we assess threats.
What I said was I'm not oppressed, I don't know anyone oppressed, I've never seen anyone oppressed, so I need clarification on real world examples of what that looks like. To your credit, I didn't say it that clearly, but that's where I was going with that.
Disparity between the groups in question... what's the question? Rather, the groups, precisely. All white people vs all black people? I have a big follow up to that but I don't want to type it all out if we're talking about something else and I'm not going to lie I probably shouldn't have popped that last bottle so I very easily could have derailed. Now personally I think race is dumb but that's a whole nother argument, as the saying goes, and I look forward to the day when skin color is no more valuable than hair color, only a descriptor of appearance, but since most folk don't feel that way we gets what we gets. That's why I asked for clarification on the whites vs blacks (or blacks+? whatever) thing and I'll hit up why bad life choices beats out oppression.
The average white person can't mathematically be compared to the average black person for two reasons. One, there's 10x as many white folk, so outliers hit smaller sets harder, and two, no I'm not saying that at all, but I'm saying it's because "black folk make stupid life choices" is a much stronger variable than oppression. The average white person is in a better financial and social position than the average black person, but I'm in a better financial and social position than the average white person. All three of us made different life choices. "Black culture" (and God how I hate that term)... just continues to make some pretty huge ones.
- 11 mo
continued due to length:
Real south? Not southwest or something? Florida don't count they're different down there. What didn't you like about it? Let's go to The Dirty sometime. I mean it brother I'll deputize you or something so you can get in the good clubs if you want... we'll do both ends (not in the homosexual sense)... I mean we'll go hand out in "black south" and we'll go hang out in the country parts where "ain't nobody looking at your skin more than your boots." If you can't have a good time there, I reckon I'll have to eat my words.
6.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Actually, the question is why do most of them still support corrupt Democrats who throw them in jail, steal from them, wage economic warfare against them, and saddle too many of them with bad housing, bad schools and crime-ridden neighborhoods? Under those circumstances, no one would hardly blame anyone for looking for another option.
Democratic misrule and abject failure is on ample display in big cities across the nation.
00 Reply3.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. The democrats want to make sure blacks are stupid and dependent on public assistance while having broken homes. BLM and other fraud organizations take their money and then buy themselves mansions.
30 Reply2.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Republicanism isn't racism. There are a lot of racists who support Trump, but he isn't exactly the textbook republican. Most Muslims are conservative and would vote that way if there wasn't severe Muslim hatred in right-wing politics right now. Bush carried most of the Muslim vote in 2000.
10 Reply- Anonymous(25-29)1 y
Because they open their eyes to the fact that the democrats are in fact the real racists and democrat policies treat the black community like they are incapable of doing anything
528 Reply- 1 y
Democrats made up all the slave laws and started the kkk. What's shocking is that any black people support them. But as a conservative I think people have free will and ofc some people will choose every option available and that's on them. I don't support racism it's one of my all or nothing issues therefore no Democrat can ever be acceptable for my vote since they are racist.
- 1 y
- 1 y
@bamesjond0069 sigh…back then democrats were conservative status quo- keepers. Are you saying liberals were slaveowners?
- 1 y
Yeah I heard that bullshit story before... democrats were Republicans and vice versa. Just like every organization turns into the opposite over time. We all know McDonald's used to be taco bell and vice versa. Canada is now America and America Canada. Drug cartels are the police and the police are the drug cartels. Can you give any other magic instances where they switch? It's not an organization changes but literally became it's opposite and so did its competing organization switch with it to?
Democrats were racist then and they are racist now. Seem like the same democrats to me. - 1 y
@bamesjond0069 were liberals the slaveowners?
- 1 y
- 1 y
@bamesjond0069 That’s an answer to some other question. Mine was: Were liberals slaveowners? Or were we the abolitionists?
- Opinion Owner1 y
You are the slave owners, liberals are planning a return to slavery by another mame
- 1 y
- 1 y
@bamesjond0069 again…were liberals anti slavery? Or pro slavery?
- Opinion Owner1 y
Pro, no doubt there for the sane
- 1 y
@OddBeMe either you have zero understanding of the words your saying or you do have an understanding and are trying to do a "gotcha" but the gotcha is the term liberal is not relevant to the conversation which is about the republican and Democrat parties. The republican party as you mentioned in the original post was the driver of anti slavery. The democratic party as mentioned in the original comment to your post was the driving support of slavery such as the kkk. If you wish to introduce new groups such as liberals, which nobody in this thread has mentioned yet, maybe you should explain how it's relevant and what you're talking about because from where I stand it sounds nonsensical since we aren't talking about liberals and that group doesn't seem to make much sense to me... but keep repeating yourself asking whether dogs were pro or anti slavery and if cats were the reverse. Your question makes about that much sense. So again. Maybe explain seeing as you're introducing unrelated terms at the 11th hour here.
- 1 y
@bamesjond0069 He thinks he's a liberal, that's why he throws the term around. He likes to think of himself as the 'good guy', despite the fact he isn't liberal in his thinking at all.
- 1 y
@bamesjond0069 You are spreading the facts man
- Opinion Owner1 y
You won't even swear so much freedom from the BCS bitch

Lincoln the republican? You love to claim credit for our work when all you have are terrorist organisations
- 1 y
Not only can I defend any position you attempt to bring up, I can do so without calling anyone a racist or sexist or homophobe/transphobe/nazi/fascist or whatever else nonsense word you leftists throw around.
- Opinion Owner1 y
You love to claim it so it isn't just terrorists as you'd be sharing Gitmo with them all from Antifa to the Taliban
- Opinion Owner1 y
You know gobblyg**k is a racist term about Asians right
Not making the liberal cause look too good there buddy - 1 y
So… A) no you aren’t able to rephrase your gobbldygook. And B) it’s a legit “gibberish” expression:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gibberish - Opinion Owner1 y
Still with the casual racism then, jeez
You burnt down cities over this but wait it's Asians so not one of your groups soon even the black community will turn it's back on you and you'll be left just fools fit only for ploughing into the fields or as pig swill - Opinion Owner1 y
You being the real racists and proving that point with anti-asian sentiments
- 1 y
Exactly. They always resort to racism. They say that math is racist yet then use racist language. They are obsessed with race one way or another and it's pretty sick fetish when you can find math racist. I might have a fetish for big tits but I don't think math has anything to do with big tits. They have no control of their sick sexual urge to fetishize skin and to play the submissive aka victim.
- 1 y
@bamesjond0069 sure, despite us liberals constantly fighting for equal rights and conservatives constantly shitcanning it.

it's a political tactic. and quite a good one. the more black republicans that run for office will eventually ruin this country. so if the black democrat can't win they'll still have the black vote.
00 Reply 1.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. They choose to vote Republican. Thats how. If you think they are unable to do so, I guess Americans who disagree with Kanye West should vote Republican because he as a black person somehow supposedly is unable to?
11 Reply- 1 y
Because some are smart enough to realize your race pandering just hides your racism.
45 Reply- 1 y
How many of your politicians run cities that have a large black population that is in utter disarray with out-of-control black-on-black crime?
- 1 y
@gorydetails Yeah the black-on-black crime rates are absolutely terrible and leftist policies do nothing to help
- 1 y
The Bible Belt is crime central in democrat-controlled cities within the South. These are your party's issues. Chicago, NY, SF, Portland, Baltimore, Philly, New Orleans, Memphis.
- 1 y
Because most conservatives are not white supremists. Get a life dude
31 Reply 7.4K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Only Black people who have Stockholm Syndrome can do this.
21 Reply752 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. because critical race theory is a patently false concept designed to keep blacks on the plantation that democrats created and continue to reinvent.
18 Reply- 1 y
That's the stupidest thing I ever heard. LMFAO... especially because your basic privileged white Democrats had nothing to do, or say, about proposing the theory. Additionally, just to prove your own stupidity to yourself, the Republicans are the ones who don't even want to discuss it because they KNOW there's meat on the bone there, and they've no way to deny that it's real.
For fuck's sake - everything from a slave economy through post Civil War lynchings and Jim Crow laws is as plain as someone pissing on your face. But no... there's nothing systemic about that, was there? Or is there? - 1 y
@loveslongnails no one from the civil war or Jim Crow is alive or has been alove in a long time. My whole life has been affirmative action, black s only scholarships, black on white crime and white flight once too many blacks move in and turn an area into a dangerous dirty war zone, followed immediately by cries of racism
- 1 y
" My whole life has been affirmative action" - Huh? All 27 years of it since 1996? That's a laugh.
No one needs to be alive from those era's to bring it back. All you have to do is re-introduce and reinstitute the concepts. Bills such as this for example:
www.theguardian.com/.../jackson-mississippi-republicans-unelected-court-system
Why don't you take time to read it, and share it with your white boy buddies, and then come back and tell me "that's not racist". No more than this is, huh " too many blacks move in and turn an area into a dangerous dirty war zone". Maybe, just maybe, it has to do with poverty and not color, or do you think poor white people are much more civil about things? - 1 y
@loveslongnails Ok, so I read this article quickly:
First of all its in the Guardian so the commentary is about as balanced as you think Fox News is.
They need more courts so they are going to add some. So what. and they are going to add police to keep crime down in bad areas. You know who benefits from this? Law abiding blacks who don't want their street turned into a war zone with gangs trying to sell drugs to their kids. I see zero racism unless your a criminal. And by the way the trailer park is dirty and smelly but you can walk through it and not get shot, even at night - 1 y
So is your point that somehow Republicans, who care about NO one but the wealthy and anyone they can use to gain power, suddenly care about blacks?
- 1 y
@loveslongnails no it’s the opposite moron. They don’t care about blacks and in fact a good number of them are caught at white nationalist events.
- 1 y
Yes, mr moron. Guess I lost your thread, or just puzzling how you're actually trying to make a case that "your whole life" is one big disadvantage due to affirmative action, black only scholarships and my personal favorite - there's no such thing as white privilege ( which is the same thing as you asserting that CRT is "Democrat" created piece of work specifically designed to keep blacks, as you say, on the plantation. Hmmm, nothing systemically racist in your head, is there? LOL Unbelievable.
- 1 y
@loveslongnails you’re getting upset that the government occasionally focuses on certain communities that need help, instead of just equally dishing out shit to everyone. How communist of you.
- 1 y
Remind me again why liberals think they’re entitled to tell black people how to vote?
215 Reply- 1 y
They don't. Remind me again how the Republican Party and conservatives can't win an election without gerrymandering their entire state, or LYING about how a federal election was stolen?
- 1 y
@loveslongnails well that’s a weak argument. Because Republicans still have won offices in statewide elections.
- 1 y
Yes that's true. In state wide elections, they hold a one state gubernatorial edge at the moment. I accept facts when they're facts - see how that's done? However, they (the Republicans) still heavily gerrymander the majority of those states, as in 23 of them, in order to maintain their trifectas. Believe what you want -- the political system is bought and paid for in both parties, but the degree to which the Republicans have fucked up and infiltrated all 3 branches of government with their fascist doctrines since the Reagan years, is without comparison. You go ahead and believe what you want and call those who see it uneducated. We expect that.
- 1 y
@loveslongnails I mean the FBI certainly hasn’t been on Trump’s side these past few years. So really not sure where the “infiltration” by Republicans is coming from.
Also Democrats do gerrymandering as well. - 1 y
Everybody gerrymanders somewhat. My statement is that for the Repubs, it's a way of LIFE. The FBI is not supposed to be on "anyone's side". You still sit there and try to find blame in those go after law breakers that surround Trump, and Trump himself, when the evidence is overwhelming that they lied, and lie for him. That's why they were prosecuted BY HIS OWN DOJ !! He's next.
- 1 y
@loveslongnails Dude. The FBI hasn’t been covering him. They’ve been the ones investigating him.
- 1 y
I never said the FBI was "covering him"? It's only right that he's being investigated - he's a criminal. Just ask all his criminal friends who went to jail for him, especially the ones still there.
- 1 y
@loveslongnails There’s a reason all the things he’s been charged of haven’t gone anywhere. Its just been utter bullshit
- 1 y
LOL uh, no. He's first being put on trial for all of them, starting now. There are civil suits, state suits and federal suits all coming at him now. It's a pleasure to watch. He'll be found guilty of most.
He was also impeached twice, an accomplishment no other President can claim. No bullshit there. Only reason he remained President was 12 stupid Republican Senators. He also settled out of court for fraudulent practices for " Trump University" to the tune of $25 million bucks. He was guilty as fuck on that one, which is obviously why he settled.
The only "utter bullshit" going on is the stuff still coming from his camp, and his own mouth, and zomboid followers - like yourself.
- 1 y
@loveslongnails Dream on but you are living in your own echo chamber and not everyday reality. For the past four year I can recall liberals saying “ha we got him, Trump’s about to be arrested”. Only to find out, all these years later, it still hasn’t happened.
DREAM ON LIB 🖕 - 1 y
@loveslongnails And did it ever occur to you that an impeachment can be politically motivated? If Democrats really believed in holding everyone accountable, they would be investigating Joe Biden’s business dealings
- 1 y
" “ha we got him, Trump’s about to be arrested”. Only to find out, all these years later, it still hasn’t happened." LMFAO Holy fuck, what planet are you on. He WAS arrested you idiot!! LOL
- 1 y
Trump was impeached for Presidential misconduct, not for business fraud. He was impeached for his actions and behaviors as a public official.
Of course they "can" be politically motivated, but they haven't been. Impeachments don't happen simply because one party doesn't "like" the President because he's from a different party. When it comes to research and actual facts, this is where you fall flat on face. You really should do some fact checking before you speak.
** The Republicans controlled Congress when Clinton was impeached for, get this, LYING about a sex scandal. However, even though the R's controlled the Senate by 10 votes, they couldn't muster enough votes to remove him from office.
** The Dems controlled Congress when Eisenhower, Nixon and Reagan were Presidents. As I hope you know, Nixon and Agnew resigned on their own, the former claiming "I'm not a criminal", the latter "I will not resign". The House did not impeach Eisenhower or Reagan.
** Dubya Bush's last year was Democratic controlled as well. Even though the Dems were furious at his loose banking policies that caused a market crash, they didn't impeach him. Even after the raping of the surplus to fund a bad war, and Cheney making billions off of it, they didn't impeach him.
However, today's Republican party is capable of that sort of stupidity, but a) they know it would die in the Senate and he'd never be removed from office, similar to Trump and b) they want to wait and see if they can gain back the Senate before they'd impeach IF Biden is re-elected c) they're too busy with culture wars and ridiculous proposals to let the country default and start a recession, and d) they're too busy in fighting.
You having some facts is too much to ask your mind, isn't it? I mean wtf, you didn't even know Trump was arrested. - 1 y
@loveslongnails But the thing is multiple legal experts, including Alan Dershowitz argue there is no case. So truth will win out. And things aren’t looking good for your side.
Also how does paying a porn star affect us? - 1 y
Like the thing is the man hasn’t spent a single second behind prison bars. And you I both know that’s what leftists had in mind
