... like by the angry unhappy kids who grow up and realise they aren't the gender they wanted to be no matter how much superficial plastic surgery and hormones they take plus all the mental health problems, inability to enjoy sex, form romantic relationships or have kids?
+1 yGuessing no one in their right mind would force a kid to become trans through hormone therapy and surgery, I'm sure those kids were really craving for an intervention. The problem is that those patients have no real idea of the consequences later in their life, in spite of whatever good intentioned people would have tried to explain.
The topic is extremely delicate, and no one should emit too quickly any judgment, but as far as I understand justice, those kids having asked and urged to have the treatment done, they have little arguments to sue anyone, well, medical mistakes set aside probably, but I'm still wondering on what basis, and against whom to start such a lawsuit. Whatever the outcome, many people will get harmed and upset. At first, I think the age of the trans kid counts when the actual procedures happened and became irreversible; I mean being legally minor or major changes a lot of theoretical legal arguments. The only people to always win would be the laywers... Sure I'm not competent to emit any real advice.20 Reply

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yClearly there are many problems, all of which must be addressed and solutions found.
There is no one size fits all, some people need to be able to have the surgery and the hormones as children because that is right for them and it cannot be achieved later on for others they think thats what they want but they are wrong and maybe this can be established with help from professionals but in order for those professionals to be able to do this work they have to be protected from this sort of legal action which is where the establishment of guidelines comes into play, these will no doubt be incorrect to begin with because it is not possible to get things like this 100% right out of the gate, nothing works like that, so we will try and learn and fail better next time.
If everyone does their parts properly there should be no problems beyond those which are an unavoidable part of the learning process and if someone doesn't do their job properly they may suffer some sort of consequences as a result, as is true for everything and if you live in a functioning society those consequences will be reasonable, proportionate and avoidable (in the sense that it was possible to avoid commiting the error in the first place).00 Reply

+1 yYes.
That is if that child grows up without committing suicide.
There is a reason that NORMAL parents raise their kids not to smoke, drink, do drugs, watch certain tv/movies/video games or use foul language.
It is because NORMAL parents know their children don’t know any better. Once that child has reached 18/21 years of age, then and only then do NORMAL parents allow their children to make THEIR own decisions.
Think of how the children of IRRESPONSIBLE parents turn out when allowed to do just about anything. Some turn into gangster thugs, buy an AR15, and then go shoot up a school, mall or church full of innocent people or they even go bully the kids that have been forced by IRRESPONSIBLE parents to use pronouns.
So why then should it be LEGAL for parents to FORCE their underage children to use pronouns.
Hell, parents are held legally responsible for when their children break curfew, skip school or commit certain crimes that a RESPONSIBLE parent can reasonably prevent.10 Reply1.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. The short answer is yes.
We have laws preventing children getting tattoos and piercings because their minds are not developed enough to grasp the potential long term consequences of having them, but they can understand the changes their bodies are going through due to puberty?
Total bollocks.
There's no way a child can understand how devastating the impact of not ever being able to have children of their own can be. It's bad enough for people who for some physical reason can't have children, but for them to be sterilised by surgical procedures before their fertility has fully developed is criminal at the level of Josef Goebbels.
In about 15 years we're going to find a massive number of cases where these children are suing. Assuming the world survives that long.10 Reply
+1 yI would hope so. The problem is that most governments are pushing this too. So its a matter of landing in a courtroom with a judge that’s not a plant. I hope not only for civil but that criminal charges can be put on these people later. If society will ever wise up is key.

+1 yWhen I was 6 or 7 there was a kid in my class who for a long time had s thing for saying he was a bull. He kept ramming us and stuff like that (he wasn't very bright). I wonder if nowadays he would be getting horns implanted and fed grass cause that's how he identifies with.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 ySued? Sure.. Prison time? Definitely. Let them rot a n prison.. The terms trans and kids do not belong in the same sentence. Same with the parents that allow this to happen.. Prison time. Jazz Jennings is a cautionary tale, her mom put her on puberty blockers and hormones at 3.. She can never have children or know sexual pleasure because of that. It's evil.. No more no less.. Parents forcing this shit on children is child abuse.

+1 yI expect it will happen, difficult to guess how often. Insurance will cover the facilities and doctors, patient rates will go up.
Its very difficult to guess how many people will regret their decisions

+1 yTeachers don't make decisions for trans kids to have surgery. Parents do, and all the doctors involved go through a very long process of counseling and therapy before anything is done. These surgeries rarely, if ever, take place before a child is 18. Who are you going to sue after you're 18 -- your parents?
10 Reply 5.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Yes! I agree with you 100%, Irishgirl.
What is being done to children is Dr. Mengele level evil. Those involved should be imprisoned.20 ReplyYes sue these jerks. They butcher bodies for money. They don't actually care about your mental health or physical health. They just want their paycheck. And with this horrible society we live in, they get praised for permanently destroying peoples bodies.

+1 yIf they were younger than 18, definitely. But folks who are adults have to figure out how to be responsible for their decision making.

+1 yYou have to be some kind of sociopath to experiment and mutilate children, especially your own. It's a mental health disorder and should be treated as such. Do we serve children to people who suffer from pedophilia? Do we starve people who suffer from anorexia?

Next they will try swapping the sex organs between two young children!10 ReplyThe Doctors had violated the Hippocratic Oath, do no harm, they mutilated mentally ill kids.
20 Reply1.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Can those responsible for the covid disaster be sued? Absolutely not. The trans-industrial complex is a project of the globalist elites. They will not face justice unless they are cleared out of power.
00 Reply1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Kids have no idea and adults having anything to do with it should be sued and or jailed. This should be some type of pedophilia

+1 yI don't think so. You can't sue someone for doing something to you that was legal at the time.

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yThere are going to be a lot of kids now that are going to regret when they get older. When I was 5, I told my mom I was a dog. You say that now, you’d be told you need to wear collars and use the bathroom in the yard.
