Trending & News Jobs. It was the darkest time of my life and I still haven't mentally recovered from it. I still blame myself for not picking the right program or for not having interest in web development or for not moving when my friends all did post graduation. I have an amazing job but because of all of the years of rejection, I fell behind and now need to find a way to move out with the little money I have. Dates? I don't blame anyone, I've been rejected so many times that I know where things stand. She deserves better to be honest.
I would blame myself for both actually. Of course, I would also start working to turn around this situation.
For example, basic conversation training could help with dating. Some sort of makeover or fitness program could help, too. Someone who gets "constantly turned down" must make an effort, that's for sure.
On the job, maybe another qualification. Or going self-employed for a while.
Sometimes it’s both sides. It’s either you fall for the same type all the time and the answer is always going to be no. But sometimes it’s not you too. It’s them. It’s because they aren’t ready, or the job got too many applicants regardless your qualifications (over or under). Don’t lose hope!
Life is full of ups and downs why blame yourself on that🤷🏻♀️

You can adjust to both but neither must be your fault. Job hunting is a lot like dating you need to hide your flaws and show your best sides but in the end the other person might be looking for something completely different. Honesty is punished and lying is rewarded. Ie saying what they want independent if you think like that.
depends on what the reasons are but it's possible you are being rejected for factors outside of your control
only a few decades ago racism was considered a huge issue (still is today) amongst the public and I'm sure at the time nobody would choose to be of a race that everybody else discriminated against
I'm basing my answer off my own experience.
I found my current job after multiple rejections and ignores from places i sent my application to. Sometimes it just takes changing your resume a bit or just waiting for the right role to pop up.
Dates however, I've never gotten a yes and I eventually realised I'm just fundamentally undateable so no point in trying further.
Why isn't there a "both" option? Generally speaking, if you are consistently getting rejected in both employment and romance; there is something you could be doing differently.
Mental health ruined my job history but at 32 I got my life back on track. My dating life still sucks and I haven’t found my woman if my dreams yet. Almost did but mental health ruined that one too
Lol this question is hitting a weak spot boyyyy plsssss
I have less control when it comes to dates.
